Get Nankang NS-2R to eliminate your problem, but dont launch your car too hard when the tyres are hot, you will damage your driveshafts overtime
-
What size tyres?
-
I was thinking the same, I might try it myself actually. I find it hard to replace the stock one though, but it shouldn't be that bad since it's really short. I wanted to get a TRD one, but £90 for a gear knob is too much

@rob275 @sam534 It's like US import cars, they seem to be OK to have their US 12x6 size plates to fit their bumpers.. double standards -

You'd be able to get away with it at the front, if you have a private reg. with max. 5 characters. They don't care that much about the front, rear is worse as they have to be the right size for the cameras to read it properly. -
Yes, it's quite normal, especially if yours is '12 plate like mine. Maybe you'd be interested in Cusco Lightweight billet aluminium pulleys? Set of 3 Crank pulley - 790g vs OE 2.3kg Alternator pulley - 76g vs OE 300g Water pump pulley - 245g vs OE 500g

Hello! I just thought I would let you know, that we currently have a couple of CUSCO roll cages for our cars. If anyone's interested in a cage, let me know, we can order any set up from CUSCO Japan, but these are the ones we have in stock at the moment: Safety 21 - 4 point - £398.78 D1 - 4 point - £448.62 Safety 21 - 7 point (dodge dash) - £747.70

@tommackey72 we already established, that your car is; basic model from Australia has either changed cluster (because basic specs in OZ didn't have a digital speedo, not even the box you have, therefore it should be like the pic i posted earlier) OR has the original cluster with broken display in the speedo section.. has an error on speed sensor of your front wheels So, i think you should take it to Toyota Garage, or contact Toyota Australia, send them your VIN number and ask whether the cluster is original or not, and you should go from there. Could be faulty display, or a cluster than shouldn't really be in your car.
-
In that case, you need AP kit - 4 pot caliper with 332mmx26mm discs. That will fit Standard 17" wheels.
-
It must be imported from somewhere, Asia/Australia as its RHD, but his plate says 61, so that's got to be JDM spec? I'm 98% sure the earliest 86s in UK are just '12 plates as the sales began in June. Correct me if I'm wrong.
-
I would say so, but if your car is imported, then who knows.. someone must've swapped the cluster somewhere along the line
-
I know that some Australian models didn't have a digital speedo, but considering yours is 2012 it should have it as it's not a Primo like steeps said I'd say there is something wrong with it as Primo models that come without the digital speedo looked like this.
-
As far as I'm aware, every GT86 has it. Is anything coming up on that little display? Gears or anything?
-
Judging by the AP BBK (that we have on clearance) 18" aftermarket wheels will clear it.
-
Safety 21 cages are Black, D1 spec cages are Blue, but colour is something you can change very easily, it's just a matter of 1 or 2 halford spray paint cans
-
Yes it is possible.
