One wheel peel? No more!

Hi everyone, KAAZ L.S.D.'s will go up in price by about 5% as of 1/10/18, so if you want to improve your track times or start drifting properly, this might be something to consider. I can give you a general 10% Forum discount to use on www.part-box.com and if you purchase it by the end of the month, you're saving 15% which is a decent chunk on high value products like Differentials. I definitely recommend KAAZ 1.5 Way SUPER Q diff for daily / track cars. You can go for the standard non-super Q version. It's cheaper, but also slightly more aggressive and noisy, so it can be mildly annoying if your car is daily driven. 2 Way differentials are used for Drifting as they feature a consistent 100% Lock on Acceleration and deceleration. Again Super-Q would be more suited for Daily driven drift cars as it doesn't engage so aggressively. 2 Way diffs are by no means like welded differentials, so don't associate 2W LSDs with welded diffs, you will not get any wheel hop while trying to parallel park like you would with welded diff, so don't be scared of it if you drift more than track it. KAAZ 1.5 Way Limited Slip Differential - Toyota GT86 / Subaru BRZ - £678.36 KAAZ 1.5 Way Super Q Limited Slip Differential - Toyota GT86 / Subaru BRZ - £767.23 KAAZ 2 Way Limited Slip Differential - Toyota GT86 / Subaru BRZ - £678.36 KAAZ 2 Way Super Q Limited Slip Differential - Toyota GT86 / Subaru BRZ - £767.23 All KAAZ L.S.D.'s are supplied with KAAZ L.S.D. I got rid of mine when installing a new intake. The intake makes some noise too, so blanking the plug didn't make a lot of difference. I'm not sure how different it is on a stock intake.

Is this for an AP kit or someone else's kit? I can't really find a part number for the bell, so I'm asking all the necessary questions before hand.
-
Of course, do you know what you need?

Stop your car!

Don't waste money on an intake kit. HKS drop in panel filter if anything. Exhaust, too expensive to get in the UK, HKS system would be a nice alternative. Start with exhaust / suspension. 18" wheels will require lowered ride height if you want it to look decent, also something like 9.5J wheels will probably require coilovers, depending on the offset it might rub on the stock strut. HKS/Tuning Developments/Cobra cat-less manifold would be the first noticeable power mod you can do, especially when it unlocks the possibility of a remap from Tuning Developments. Either way, I did this: Panel filter > exhaust > suspension > wheels & tyres

What discs are you ordering, maybe I can do you a deal? Some discs are 295mm and those are fine to use too. Rear discs are 290mm - same as 09-14 Legacy Turbo.

I will have a black one as of this weekend because I'm picking up a facelift bumper, but it will need a respray because its got 6 years worth of stone chips on it. £50 would take it

I've spoken to Cusco, they don't have anything in the warehouse, but Kaz-san will speak to someone from FIVE:AD and confirm the availability & price. I'll let you know once I know more.

Thank you! If you ever need anything else, let me know

Unfortunately, rears do not exist

Hello, I'm sure we can get it through Cusco straight from Japan Lucas

@Kaltorak If you don't want to go crazy with OE replacement discs, just go with these National Auto Brake Discs that I'm using combined with PFC Z-Rated Brake Pads.. I dare to say that PFC Z-Rated pads are the best fast road pads you can buy.. National Auto discs are cheap & cheerful replacement for stock discs. They are grooved so they improve the initial bite of the pads so it does improve braking a little bit too Noticeable change and for that price, you can't go wrong. We offer a forum discount as well and free UPS shipping.

Has anyone got a spare boss kit that's no longer needed? I've got an aftermarket steering wheel because my oem one started peeling, but I'm after a boss kit to fit it Thanks

We had those STi sideskirts in stock. RRP is £842.40.. we had them in for years, couldn't get rid of them at all. Someone ended up buying them for £400 ish if I remember correctly. We get them through Cusco in Japan. https://www.part-box.com/subaru-brz-fits-gt86-sti-oem-side-skirts-lh-rh-fitting-kit-st96030as020-st96030as020?search=brz sti&description=true

I managed to get this Circuit Sports Catback exhaust from work ( https://www.part-box.com/ ) and I'm putting it on after work. I've put the car on the lift on my lunch and got everything ready, should be a straight forward process (yeah, i know.. famous last words) I'll keep you updated!

We'll see what it does. I am not expecting much from it. I was just curious more than anything because I couldn't really find a reliable dyno report anywhere, not even on the U.S. forums when it comes to this EVO2000 kit. As far as other things go, I get the aftermarket stuff cheaper than I could get the OEM as I'd have to go to Toyota and buy them at retail, so again, I am not buying them because I think they are better, I can just get it cheaper and they are definitely not worse, expect maybe the HKS oil filter

Months have passed and I've put a few more bits on to my car. Nothing too major. 1) Got a Cusco oil filter as the HKS one that I had needed changing - HKS Oil filters should be changed every 6k miles! 2) Mishimoto Oil Filler cap just for engine bay bling 3) Injen EVO2000 induction kit. It's rather big piece of kit and an ultimate bitch to fit. It took me hours last night because bumper removal is necessary to install the scoop. It's a crazy job that involves loosening radiator support bracket and lots of other bits. The reason I went with this kit over HKS air intakes is because Injen promises big power gains.. 15bhp & 11ft/lbs without mapping the car. I had to disconnect the battery when installing this intake, so when I started the car up, the idling was really rough to a point where it would even cut off. ECU needs some driving time to get used to it. I checked AFR and MAF sensor readings and everything seemed alright. Went for a drive on my lunch break and it's good now. The induction noise sounds pretty damn cool and it feels like it's pulling stronger above 4,5k RPMs but that's about as much as I can say for now. I will have it booked at DynoDaze to see the gains or losses! I have had it on the dyno there before with the stock intake so I should have accurate reports. I will be changing the spark plugs soon, I will do it myself and I am really not looking forward to it but it's gotta be done! I chose Iridium HKS spark plugs with a reasonable heat range for me. Some people go 50HL, but 45HL will do as I am N/A. Agency Power cat-less manifold will installed soon too, and then it will be just a matter of having it mapped by Tuning Developments. Bride ZETA III bucket seat will be going in at some point before the next show season as well, I'm just waiting for the seat rail to arrive now.
