Hi and welcome! I live in Worcestershire - we will have to arrange a mini-meet sometime . Faith is always game for a meet up as well, and has family in Birmingham. Dave

Is this part available via Subaru UK and is it dearer than japanparts?
Pitman replied to Twigman's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
I actually have the cheap version (which requires slight re-wiring) if any one wants it, just send me a pm. I got lazy, and ordered the proper Subaru one from Japanparts, received the tracking number about half an hour ago. Dave -

Winters sold to Alec Standard Rims sold to AndyDavis_AD

You are welcome, Lauren! I am sure the scrubbing won't take long for you - a couple of repeat 360's around a roundabout with the tail out 45 degrees should do nicely!

Keith, Please empty your pm box - I have tried to send you a pm, but get a message saying you cannot receive any more messages. Dave

Thanks, Rob

I have sold my winters to Alec, however have four as new (no scuff marks whatsoever) standard rims available (no tires on them). Cost of new standard rims is 354.20 + vat, so 425.04 each . I will sell all four at 150 pound each - so 600 pound for the set. Just over 1/3 of the new price - a bargain! Dave Here you are, Jay - 5 x 100.

Welcome (from a dual poster on both forums!) There is truly a fantastic social scene developing on this forum, which to me is what it is all about Dave

Exactly as described by Mark - thank you. You just left out the bobble bit At the CAT training, once I had finished my gymkhana run in the Caterham (nothing like being the guinea pig and having to go first), Colin Hoad, the chief instructor for CAT took my car out onto the handling course to give it a quick evaluation. Damping definitely too hard - the way he was analysing it with a running commentary whilst going round at (to me, anyway) a totally mind blowing speed was unbelievable. Anyway, Keith and I have booked a half day with him at the end of July for him to do a full evaluation, and help sort it out. I am trying to arrange for Yukiko from Tein to join us for the morning, so she can make the adjustments as per Colin's advice. Colin is recognised as being the leading authority on vehicle dynamics in the country, so it will be money well spent. He didn't comment about the spring rates or roll bars, just the damping. The beauty of the Teins, is that the full ability is there to optimise them by an expert like Colin. Colin's knowledge coupled with the full facilities of Millbrook which he has at his disposal should result in us being able to get a really good set up for our cars, which Tein can then take and use as the base settings for the kits going forward. This will hopefully give us mere mortals (unlike the driving goddesses we have in the club - Lauren and now Faith with her recognition as being the driver of the day at the CAT training) the best settings to get the cars to the same balance as stock, just at a far higher level. Dave

Really sorry to see this, Chris -
I know that this could well be a bit of a controversial topic, but leading on from a post on 'the other' forum: What is the general consensus of us doing something like this for Keith?

Great pictures, and a great day spent with those who did make it! -
Seems a bit ironic ordering a hoodie on what is probably the hottest day of the year so far
