Great! How did you sort out the radiator, Lauren?
-
Well done Mr & Mrs Rab! Keep it up
-
I am having it raised - looking for about 1" extra ground clearance at the back. The great thing about the coil overs is that it can be fine tuned. No forged engine yet, Will.

Dropping my car off tomorrow morning at Fensport for my fitment. I am also getting the full poly bush makeover (as per Steveoexige's suggestions), and the S-Wade roll centre adjuster kit . A few other goodies as well!

I will (hopefully) be fitting the TOMs to my car next weekend . Finally made up my mind after a lot of indecision -
Sounds exactly like me a couple of weeks ago . No going back now, though, I am dropping my car off at Fensport on Saturday for them (together with a full poly bush set) to be fitted next week while I am in the Netherlands on business. Steve, once I get my car back next week Friday, if you want to meet me half way, you are more than welcome to take my car for a test drive Dave

Rab, Coming from the colonies, this stone unit of measure has absolutely no meaning to me , Can you report in future using an internationally recognised (and understood) unit of measure? I will then know how much abuse (or not) to give you

Just been browsing EBay, and came across this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/INNOVATE-Twin-Screw-Supercharger-Stage-1-COMPLETE-kit-Subaru-BRZ-Toyota-GT86-/121289418674?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1c3d69a7b2 The advert says it includes ECUTEK ProECU Re-Flashing Cable & Tune File, & K&N™ drop-in filter!, Non-Intercooled. The "COMPLETE" system includes all the required hardware & ECU calibration needed for the complete installation, minus the tools. Must be a good option for those wanting to go FI on a budget! (Not sure how much it would cost to add the intercooler, though)

Er, thank you, but no thank you. -
The challenge is for the old buZZard to join in . Rob, it is the support, and not the amount that matters at the end of the day. I have a very personal reason for my support of rab.

You are most welcome, Rab. Tell Mrs Fatrab I will do the same for her, with a 10% bonus for the winner

Put me down for £10 per kilo, Rab Dave

Scratches on windows (Electric windows)
Pitman replied to rob275's topic in Non GT86/BRZ General Chat
OK. I am currently in the Netherlands, so cannot have a look at my car. When I get back home on the weekend, I will take off my door trim panel, and see what could be causing the issue. That way I will be able to give you something specific to go back to your dealer(s) with in support of your warranty claim. I will put my former Principal Engineer - Body and Body Hardware for Toyota SA hat on (included responsibility for window regulators!) -
Scratches on windows (Electric windows)
Pitman replied to rob275's topic in Non GT86/BRZ General Chat
Rob, the scratches you describe are typically caused by dirt / grit getting caught between the window glass and the weatherstrip along the bottom. With the window wound fully down, have a look in the 'fur' lining inside the weather strip where the scratches are. Normally, the scratches are very fine, and should polish out with some glass polish (just make sure the offending material is moved first). -
What you need is the Aygo Carrier Spare Wheel - part number 51931 0H010, and the Yaris polystyrene spacer to support the carpet - part number 64777 0D060

I had one fitted to my car as well last week when it was at Fensport, and I agree, it is a great mod - well worth it

I have eaten at a lot worse than Beefeater in my global travels. At least if we eat at the hotel, there will be no issues for when those of us less used to late night binging want to disappear to bed

I have also just got the text from the hotel
