    Milltek cracked

Looking at the welding on both the cracked exhaust, as well the the new one it is being replace with, I do not know when last I say such bad welding . Ther would appear to be no penetration at all. Not good. This is what a good weld should look like on stainless steel http://www.proweldvic.com.au/uploads/images/img-home1.jpg

James, as far as I know as standard there is no transmission oil cooler, so any one would be an upgrade

Why Ginger will always be faster :)

If you read the post about it, I think it is as much about because it can be done, and to show the shops capabilities, as anything else. Steve, I don't think the turbos are that much smaller than the AVO one (I may be wrong), so only have the exhaust pressure from two cylinders may actually have a detrimental effect on spool time.

Dan, I have just replied to your pm. Off boost, there should be no detrimental effect on your fuel consumption at all. However, if you are concerned about that, then you need to be really sure forced induction is right for you.

Standard is around 7.2 to 7.8 seconds, The best I have got (using the Torque App) is around 5 seconds post turbo fitment. Very much depends on how hard you are on your drivetrain.

Welcome to the forum! I can guarantee you a great experience with Fensport. With the exception of the lightweight flywheel and pulleys, it sounds like you will be having a similar spec to my car. I haven't had it back onto a dyno since I had the full 3" exhaust fitted, but with a 2.5" turbo outlet pipe and overpipe, and 3" from the cat pipe back, on the high boost setting the power was 328 bhp with a torque figure of 259 ft/lb. This was at "The Power Station" in Tewkesbury. When Adrian re-mapped it after the full 3" system was fitted, the flow went up by approx 10g, which equated to roughly an additional 10bhp. Must get it back onto the dyno! One word of advice - make sure you only use Shell V Power once you have the turbo fitted. I once made the mistake of filling up with BP before a dyno day, and the ecu pulled the timing right back due to detonation, resulting in a loss of over 30 bhp.

    Lamborghini Aventador crash video

This was posted a while ago, where there was a lot of speculation as to who was at fault. http://www.gt86.org.uk/forums/topic/1498-how-not-to-drive-a-lamborghini/

So I got a bit wound up...

I didn't have any of the issues with 1st and 2nd gear some have (apart from it being a bit stiff initially on very cold days. What the MTEC springs do is give a far more direct engagement (they are just stiffer indent springs), which together with the TRD shift, and Millers oil, make the gearbox absolutely fantastic.

So I got a bit wound up...

I have the MTEC springs, as well as a very carefully set up and adjusted TRD short shift lever, and my gear shift is fantastic. Definately the way forward, in my (most humble) opinion

So I got a bit wound up...

Having two forums for a small community like the GT86 / FRZ one is in the UK, can never be a good idea. I just wish whoever, and I am not pointing any fingers at all, could just put their pride and egos to one side, and realise that at the end of the day, we all should be members of 'the' club for our passion about our cars, and what they mean to us. I belong to both forums (even though I am banned on the owners club forum, I do still have special dispensation to still post there ) because I have made some really good friends through the two forums, and all are not members of both. I do get wound up when people come onto the forums winging about issues, rather than just getting them sorted. That is just the way I am, though. Also, the mentality, and total ignorance of some of the posters (mainly on GT86owners club) does make me wonder sometimes.
