Doesn't necessarily have to be a particularly long stroke though - the piston design plays a big part in how well the suspension responds to the bumps.

I'd consider swapping the super pro bushes for the whiteline ones if it's possible - they are much, much easier to adjust!
-
Have a look at the Flex A's as well if you're going Tein. They have a special bump stop and are supposed to give a super comfortable ride but still handle really well.
-
Again, most people won't be bothered but it also puts more strain on the suspension when lowering the offset of the wheels and increasing the width.
-
Yeah agree with Mike - never a problem.

Yep mine had the revo map, the vwr intake kit and an exhaust. 230hp and 250nm torque.

Twin charged with the supercharger first means you can have a nice large turbo for big power as the supercharger covers the fact the turbo doesn't spool up until higher in the rev range. It is also easier to get the power down as it comes in progressively - supercharger first then big hit from the turbo. The scirocco I had previously was the twin charged one. After tuning it it was quicker 0 - 60 and on the 1/4 mile than tuned 2.0 sciroccos because I could actually get the power down when launching it.

How are the flex z's?

Do you have the side carpet trims available for the boot Nige? Also the two side polystyrene pieces from the boot (near the dampers). Cheers! :-)

When the morons replaced my windscreen they damaged a number of the square headed clips that hold the plastic scuttle panel on. I have new clips to replace them but I'm not sure how to remove the old ones - anyone know? Cheers!

Thanks Nige - much appreciated!

Glad it's nearly there Nige. ☺

Be interested to see what price you're after for the sump too Nigel -it's on my long term plans list too.

Winters are off and summers are on with semi track Federal 595RS-R's so apologies for the inevitable snow next week! So nice to be off the stock wheels and back on these - light wheel and wider track makes such a big difference. The Federals have ridiculous amounts of grip - considering they are brand new so need to burn off the releasing agent - they're crazy!
-
Definitely the top one

Looks awesome in white! Congratulations ☺

Yes rear camber bushes are being fitted at the same time to allow alignment to be set.
-
Few more whiteline bits and pieces ready to fit:-
-
I was a little skeptical when I saw the wheels alone but on the car they just look so right. Car's looking awesome!
-
Just wanted to say big thanks to James at Amber - I ordered a couple of whiteline bits off him over the last week and both the prices and service have been awesome. I know where I'll be getting all my parts from in the future!
-
Look forward to hearing your thoughts :-)

When's it being fitted? I'll be very interested to see your feedback as I've just bought one to be fitted when my coilovers are fitted bit I'm now wondering if I should leave it off.
