Fensport GT86 Open Day - 15th March 2014
Deacon replied to faith's topic in Meets/Show & Shine - Pictures & Videos
Big thanks to everyone for Saturday (day and night!). It was a really great day and I'm already looking forwards to the next one. Awesome pictures too Will! -
Very nice!

Looks good! Are you thinking new wheels or refurb of the rotas?

4.Deacon +1 Anyone know a table for where?

Put my summers back on today. Hating the Primacy's though. I've been spoiled by my winters - so much better!
-
I've decided to keep hold of the wheels as I can't find anything for the money that matches them. The tyres will be up for sale though.

Hello, Just putting these up to see if there's any interest. I have my Konig Daylite wheels for sale fitted with the stock michelin tyres. They are 17x7 et40 so fill the arches a bit better than the stock wheels. They also weigh in at only 7kg per wheel so a useful 2kg saving over the stock wheels per corner and pretty much the lightest wheels I could find without spending mega money. All tyres have 6-7mm of tread and all the wheels are unmarked and immaculate. Few pictures below:- On the car with stock suspension:- On the car with it lowered (not the greatest pic to see on sadly):- And off the car without tyres:- I'm located on the Midlands / South Staffs border. I'm looking for £700 collected. Any questions please ask

whether I should assume anything about the weather!

Should have gone with the A3's Rab! They've been awesome even in this mild winter we've had. -
Stock offset is 48.

Lovely wheels. What colour have you gone for?
-
Sounds good to me!
-
Me too please Pitman!

I've borrowed a sound meter from work so we could take some measurements of different exhaust set ups if anyone wants to - could be useful info for people deciding which exhaust to go with or with track noise limit considerations in mind.

What lauren described happened to me when I ordered a cf spoiler from the states a few years back. Was almost a month till I got the import duty bill though! -
Very nice! Looking forwards to seeing it on Saturday. If you'd like to come out for a spin in mine to try the cg springs your welcome.

Which way will you be going Will?

I've had a few occasional issues when starting my car - it's like it doesnt quite catch when trying to start then finally manages it. Theres a thread about it over on the other forum. It did it again today when I was leaving work. Seemed a bit worse this time and I think the description I've read of it as similar to an old propeller plane cranking is very apt. Just wondered if anyone had come across any further info on what causes it or any fix available? Cheers!

I haven't noticed any signs of a misfire. Apart from the starting up it seems to run very well. If it was the vvti controller would you expect it to show a fault code? I've got the torque app so could scan it for any codes.
-
Maybe Will although I would have thought if it was due to new map it would have been doing it since the map was put on?

Midlands / south Staffs border Rob.

It did it again today. This time after I'd been to the gym. Previously it's done it probably 3 times since last April when I got the car. That's twice in 2 days now! Both times have been worse than in the past too - it just didn't seem to want to catch and start and both times I've had to tap the accelerator to get it going.
-
It's a really weird thing. Reminds me of my first car with a manual choke - when you didn't give it enough choke and it barely spluttered into life!
-
The rays are beautiful wheels. Considering red for my wheels too. Quite surprised by the weight though - mine are 7kg for 17x7 and I'd expected the rays to be quite a bit lighter.
-
Are they 17x8?
-
Btt - back to top I believe keith
