The longer one of the extra bolts didn't seem much different to the oem bolt so I was unsure that the spacer was a good idea as there would be less thread engagement
-
Also many thanks to @will300 for the expert help fitting the Schroth Asm 3 harnesses. I'm still not 100% convinced by the rear mounting bracket that has to be bent and wonder if it would be better to source a longer bolt and use one of the supplied spacers?

Wheels and tyres are now on ready for Bedford on Monday
-
The AD08RS's are certainly a hefty tyre weight wise coming out at 10.8kg compared to the Freeform wheels at 8.8kg
-
I was hoping that would be the case as it was with the Cup's and 595 RSR's I've run previously
-
Drive them from stone cold today to the local tyre place to get some new tyres fitted. Braking performance from cold seems fine and there was no noise which I'd expected from a lot of the reviews I'd read. 225/45/17 AD08RS's fitted to the Konig's. I was concerned they'd be a bit too stretched as it's a 9" wheel but they are fine and look similar to the stretch of my 225/40/18 PS4's on my 8" wide wheels
-
Cheers. They're 17x9 and I got them from Wheelbase. The matte silver is lovely.
-
New track wheels arrived today ready for a fresh set of AD08RS's to be fitted tomorrow

The splitter and diffuser bits came out as about £1300 just over a year ago (obviously exchange rates and price increases will probably alter that now)
-
Not exactly daily driving as I don't use the car daily but I will be commuting with them occasionally yes
-
No and I had the exhaust fitted for quite a long time without a diffuser and noticed no real problems 👍
-
It's a very quiet exhaust so I'm sure it'll be fine for what you're after. I can't really comment on cruising in 6th at 80-90 as it's not something I really do. It definitely looks awesome though!

Had the pfc.08 pads and new front and rear discs fitted today at Rogue Motorsport. The pfc.08 pads certainly don't lack in stopping power to the point that the PS4's are now the weak link stopping wise with the abs triggering more easily now as the brakes overwhelm the tyre grip.

I've got the HKS HiPower Spec L. What would you like to know?
-
Around 40mm

I picked up a Schroth Asm 3 harness for a bargain price from Amazon a couple of days ago and it arrived today. Plan is to try and get it fitted ahead of Mondays trackday at Bedford and see what difference it makes compared to the CG Lock I currently use.

This is the non aggressive rear diffuser. Tegiwa is where me and @will300 had them from but I'm not sure they are importing the Verus stuff anymore
-
Verus tested that one

At the bottom of your post there is a button that says edit. Click that. I've attached a screen shot of one of my posts showing it -
I used some Poorboys World Black hole on Sunday and this was the result:-
-
You'll have to share your trackday videos so we can all learn then
-
I'd have a look at the speedo and make sure you can live with it as for me that would be the real deal breaker with the primo - the analogue display is almost entirely useless
-
That was my problem. Essex was a trek and a half for me and after doing it twice and getting nowhere I gave up.
-
The big problem with the GT1's is they haven't been developed on an 86 and just didn't work very well - the ride was comically bad. Maybe someone has done the development they needed by now though 🤷♂️
