Anarchy Motive Goliath shift knob for sale. The shift knob has been custom engraved with the Batman logo and the 6 speed shift pattern. It's a hefty old beast weighing in at 657g and so makes a considerable difference to the shift feel (especially helping with that pesky shift into second when the cars cold). Shifter originally cost approximately £100 including the engraving, delivery from the states and import duty, etc so grab yourself a bargain as I'm looking for £50. Collection preferred (I'm based on the South Staffs / West Midlands border) but delivery available at cost. Any questions please ask.

I'm a fan of black on black

I've got 255 on a 9" wheel and 245 on a 9.5" wheel. No problems with either

For anyone who doesn't use the FB group thought I'd share this picture of the new Rogue Motorsport Uel and El longtube manifolds they now offer. I'm running the El one and the power and, especially torque gains, are really impressive. Good to have even more good tuning options available! Picture is without the overpipe which also forms part of the runners on these. Think this is the only longtube Uel that uses the overpipe as part of the runners for our cars.

Now sold.

It looks like it'd be £10 with Hermes for 2-3 day delivery

Yes Toyota also say 0w20 is preferred but to say 0w30 is wrong is incorrect. Toyota or Subaru wouldn't void a warranty claim for either oil as they're both stated in the manual.
-
This is incorrect. Manual states 0w20 or 5w30

What tyre size would you put on an 8.5J rim?
Deacon replied to Booboo's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
It's ok - it's what's on my winter wheel set up so I wanted relatively narrow. If they were normal use wheels I'd want to go for 235. -

Recommended sizes for an 8.5" wheel are 225 minimum with 235/245 as the ideal sizes. I'd have a look at what sizes the tyres you want come in and use that to guide you. Personally I'd probably aim for 235 having run a 225 on an 8.5" wheel. -
SOLD 2019 GT86 Club Series Blue Edition Performance Pack Manual
Deacon replied to EIGHTY_SIX_'s topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Cars
Just to clarify for your ad the UK cars didn't receive the shorter final drive (I presume that what you meant by diff ratio changed?) GLWTS though - looks mint -
I'm sure they'd fit it for you for a fee though

Having finally remembered my password for here and after meeting a lot of folks on saturday thought I'd add a little on what I've done to my car since getting it. After four and a quarter happy years with a Scirocco I decided the time was right for a change. The GT86 caught my eye and I was offered a very good p/x and then very good deal so I went for it. Picked it up a week ago - couple of not great pics below:-
-
A little interior tweek which I picked up from a member on the other forum - leather shift boot with 86 embroidery to replace the OEM vinyl one and a Type R style Duracon shift knob (to add to the far too many shift knobs I now own)

I just wish Waze added a route without speed bumps option!

It's mainly just satnav here

Nigel who used to post on here years ago had both Flex A's and Ohlins on his car which he swapped between. He ended up selling the Ohlins as he felt the Flex A's rode better.

Crash beam is the best place - figuring if it's an accident that smashes into the crash beam the oil cooler leasing is probably going to be the least of your worries! Mine and Wills are fixed to the crash beam and supported with riser blocks on the undertray. Without the blocks would be safest but then they give a little extra support so 🤷🏼♂️

You don't want to mount it to the plastic under tray. If you go off on track and pull the bumper off....
