Greddy USA were selling them half price recently so even with shipping etc that may be worth looking at. I was interested in these too but as they aren't meant to make much in the way of power and so be mainly for noise I wasn't massively impressed by the noise they make so have mostly dropped the idea. Be interesting to see though if you go ahead with them

You'll need to add prices and pictures of items please to conform to the forums selling rules. -
Stoptech centric blanks are worth considering. Cheaper than oem and good quality.

The stickers can be bought from everything vinyl https://everythingvinyldecal.com/collections/ft86-brz-gt86-fr-s-86

😂 Has to be a serious consideration surely!

Final thing for now is I renewed my insurance for another year with Greenlight. It'd come down from last year which was a nice surprise.

Next up I bought the black interior trim pieces from the poverty spec Japanese version. I also picked up some covers for the hvac controls from Wish And these illuminated toggle switches which replace the little cubby next to the starter switch (although I haven't decided what I'm actually going to use them for yet) And lastly, as the door cards have to come off to fit some of the new trim bits, I've also ordered a set of the Focal IS165TOY replacement speakers.

Haven't updated this for ages as there hasn't been that much to report but I've got a few bits and pieces underway and waiting to be fitted. Firstly I removed the Voodoo 13 LCA's. The Motons I have fitted lower the car quite a bit without touching their lowering capacity and it was just too much with the drop the Voodoo's give meaning that to get the ride height I wanted the dampers were 'topping out'. I also sold the carbon wing and boot as I decided I didn't want to change from my Legsport carbon ducktail. My cars been away for a while having a few bits done which I'll report back on when they're finished. In the meantime I've picked up a few bits to give the interior a bit of a lift. First up I got a new gear knob from a company called Commune DIY who make them from recycled skateboards so each one is unique. I went for one with primarily red and black woods to match my interior colours I also had the shift pattern burnt into the top.

Wheel weight rota blitz, pro race 1.2
Deacon replied to Daninplymouth's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
@Daninplymouth if you are happy to go to 17x7" I had the Konig Daylites which were 6.5kg a corner and stood up to plenty of both road and track use quite happily. They came in at under £600 for the set. -

@Daninplymouth worth looking at the Konig offerings too. They do some light and very well priced flow formed options 👍 -

949's are very tough wheels designed for track abuse. @will300 may be able to chime in with their weight as he has a set -
Jesus they are nice 🤤

I have run a 9/14 with arb's and ran 7/8 with arb's for ages for dual use. The dampers make a massive difference to running the high spring rates though. I wouldn't fancy those rates on cheapie dampers!
-
Maybe show them this, it may help?
-
Thank you @Lauren I'm looking forwards to doing what I can to help
-
You could do a nice cheap upgrade then to the larger oem brakes when someone's selling after fitting a bbk
-
I thought that's what I'd seen 👍
-
Unless they are massively different in size to oem then oem pressures should be fine. For 215/45/17 oem is 35psi all round. I've found that is fine for road use on most tyres I've tried but some tyres will want more pressure, some less (rainsports for instance have very soft sidewalls so benefit from a higher pressure).
-
To be fair the brakes being smaller is what I'd read but I haven't actually looked at a primo in person (you don't see many obviously!) Maybe @Riceburner could advise if they are the smaller ones or if they're the same as the non primos in the UK?
-
All UK cars have the larger brakes as standard apart from the very few (about 30) primo editions sold
-
The one I have that @will300 also picked up was from ebay and was about £2! Maybe worth a try to see if it works for you / you can deal with the looks
-
A shift extender greatly helps with the cold shift but it depends if you can live with the looks
-
For the coilover 6 hours labour seems excessive. The 86 suspension is pretty easy to change - somewhere that knows what they're doing should have it done in 2-3 hours. You'd then just need an alignment on top.
-
Skirts will be fine, splitter probably not as the BRZ bumper is a different shape

Some help and advice please, winter tyres/alloys
Deacon replied to Nelix's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
Mine will be going back onto its winter wheel and tyre set up at the end of October - Do Luck double six wheels in 17x8.5 with 225/45/17 Nokian WRA4 tyres
