    Best wheel option?

As an idea this is a comparison of an et40 17x7 (top) and an et35 18x8 (bottom) wheel. The 17x8 et50 would sit around the same in the arch as the 17x7 et40.

    Best wheel option?

That's more than a slight drop. I'm lowered about 40mm and not that low!
  5. Most carbon bonnets on the 86 are heavier as the oem aluminium bonnet is very light

    Next Car/GT86 Differences

A friend had an A45 and reckoned it was the worst car he's ever owned. He got rid pretty quickly. A 2019 mx5 with the increased power is tempting me along with an Alfa Giulia. I'd also take a Cayman but don't want to spend the cash required.
  7. Event Title: Gaydon Heritage Motor Museum Meet - 7th July 2018 Event Author: Deacon Event Date: 07.07.18 Hello Everyone I've spoken to the Heritage Motor Museum at Gaydon to arrange a south Midlands meet for us. The HMM will reserve us part of their carpark for our exclusive use where we can park up, get some photos (the museum makes an excellent backdrop for group photos - maybe arrange the cars into colours, etc) and have a bit of a chat. We can then have a look around the museum (museum tickets will be £9) before having lunch / coffee and cake in the restaurant there. The plan is to arrive for 11. The museum would like an idea of numbers to ensure they reserve enough of the car park for us so please add your name below if you're interested. Hopefully we can get a good turnout. Thanks for looking, Deacon Location & Time: The Heritage Motor Museum Banbury Road Gaydon Warwick CV35OBJ Date: 7th July 2018 Time: 11am 1. @Deacon 2. @will300 3. @Keethos 4. @DanJ

  9. I have for sale my Voodoo 13 LCA's. They haven't been on the car for long as you can see from the pictures and are in as new condition. The arms are beautifully made out of billet aluminium and lower the car 18mm. The box, instructions, bolts and stickers are all present. I've also fitted rod end covers to protect the spherical bearings from the UK weather and these are also included. These arms allow you to gain back bump travel lost from lowering and allow camber adjustment between 0/5°. I am only selling them because they don't work well with my Moton suspension (I hadn't realised how much my Moton's lower the car by already and so with the lowering of the arms it is too low for how I want my car set up). New from Amber Performance these are £558 including VAT, I'm looking for £450 as they are basically new. The Voodoo arms are located on the West Mids / South Staffs border but I regularly travel between Bedford and Tewkesbury so I could arrange to meet up around these areas too. Collection would be preferred as the box is quite large. I can find out postage costs though if needs be. Any questions please ask and thanks for looking.

    Bilstein B14 coilovers - review

I would definitely agree with what @GraemeI said about the OEM suspension and especially the Flex A's. I'd be very interested to try the American CSG spec version of the Flex A's and see if the changes they've made to the valving (presumably firming it up) do stop some of the bottoming out over big bumps and stop them being too soft on track. Preeuming the car is being lowered on Flex A's, rear LCA's that lower the car rather than using the damper to do so would probably also be very worthwhile as the rear dampers are just so ridiculously short and this would enable the lowering without sacrificing the damper travel.

I'd probably be tripleing that sort of cost and you'd want to be very careful with the valving and spring rates that you specified. It's taken me a good couple of years to get mine to that sort of place and I've been through about 8 different spring rate and valving set ups along the way. For more reasonable costs it's tough to beat the flex a's or ohlins imho

I'd say yes but it's going to cost you.
  18. I have a slightly scruffy carbon wing for sale that I bought to refurbish but have decided to stick with the ducktail I already have. The wing is 140cm wide and the legs can be mounted at two width (80cm and 100cm apart). The wing can be set at three angles. The leg height is approximately 15cm to the bottom of the wing. The wing is a bit scruffy and could do with the clearcoat redoing as it has a crack in it (this does seem to be just the clearcoat and not the wing though) and a few circular marks (these may well polish off though). I've tried to capture this on the pictures. The spoiler legs would also probably benefit from repainting. I'm looking for £150 and this is collection only as the box is massive and I'd like the buyer to have chance to have a good look at it and make sure they're happy with it before they buy. I'm located on the South Staffs / West Mids border and I also travel fairly regularly to both Bedford and Tewkesbury so could also arrange to meet up. Any questions please ask 👍

    wheels, will they fit?

I'd doubt they'll fit on standard suspension and would almost certainly stick out of the arch with no way of adjusting camber. On standard suspension they'd probably look pretty awful too
