    Convoy to Japfest Silverstone 2018

Me, @will300 and @faith are meeting at Corley services at about 6.30/45 if you want to meet us? Plan is for a fairly leisurely drive down, arriving about 7.30

    2018 Toyota 86 Racing Series

Interesting to see that the mods done on them is essentially what most people here do (bar the roll cage, etc) - wheels, suspension, manifold and exhaust, oil cooler, sump baffle.
  5. I did yes. Mines definitely louder but only a little. Not as much as the Bedford reading seems to suggest - for that sort of increase I'd expect it to be a very noticeable increase in volume! Even my fiancée thinks the change is tiny and she definitely doesn't hold back when telling me about the things on the car she doesn't like 😂
  6. It could be a measured at Bedford thing - Dan's was and Lauren's wasn't. In terms of the drive by when I was getting told off for noise there the bloke said their new equipment was much more sensitive than their old. My car is a little louder than last year but not much and yet my static readings had apparently gone up about 7db and my drive by enough for me to be black flagged. The quieter than the turbo set up seems weird though unless the screamer pipe throws that off maybe?
  7. I wonder if it's a Uel frequency thing. Mine isn't that loud and yet was apparently 95db drive by at Bedford last time. Even Nikki agrees that it's not loud so it's not just that it's me!

This is viewing on my phone if that makes any difference - not sure if that alters the cache use?

    Auto Allure RapidcoatH20

It still seems to be beading fairly well. I have only cleaned it once since I applied it and with just a snowfoam it cleaned up well and when I was jetting the snow foam off it seemed to sheet fairly well. I'd be interested to maybe treat it a few times in a row as because it's just a spray on wipe off job I'm not convinced the whole car gets fully covered in one application. Auto allure have their own website and shop so I ordered it direct 👍
  11. Cleaned my car yesterday and tried a new spray on, wash off nano coating by Auto Allure called RapidcoatH20. It's really easy to apply, you just spray on to a wet panel and then jet wash off before drying. I made a mistake and did the whole car before washing it off whereas a panel at a time is better otherwise you can get spotting which then takes quite a bit of effort to remove. It's meant to last three months (although I'm skeptical on it lasting that long). It seems like a pretty decent, fairly easy to use, cheap product and it's amazing to see just how hydrophobic it is when you spray it onto the wet panels.
  12. All the filters are now sold.
  13. Having a bit of a garage clear out and now I have an induction kit fitted I no longer need these. I've got two used Cosworth drop in air filters for sale at £10 each (plus postage if required). They've each covered about 7k miles I've got one brand new Cosworth drop in filter still security sealed in the box for £15 plus postage And one hks drop in filter for £10 plus postage which again has done about 7k miles I'm located on the West Mids / South Staffs boarder but regularly travel to Bedford too so happy to meet up and save the postage cost.

Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres

I found them OK in normal road use but I'd suggest extra caution in heavy rain - they're not fond of standing water! Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  15. All of the Cosworth filters are now sold, just the HKS filter currently remains.
