Video of a lap at Bedford on Monday this week. I had a load of problems with my cameras and Harry's so it's probably the best lap I have on film with data.
-
It's made from Duracon. It was from Japex and cost about ÂŖ37

I'd be amazed if it doesn't flake off these as well - pretty much every set I've had has suffered from that bar the yellow and neochrome ones.

Few little updates. I picked up a light weight Beatrush gearknob as I wanted to try something considerably less hefty than the Anarchy Motive ones. On the scales you can see it weighs in at a tiny 60g I also spent yesterday at Rogue having my oil cooler fitted and while they had the bumper off they popped my TRD Canards on that I've had on the shelf at home for about two years! The oil cooler itself was fitted after a bit of hassle as the Hel brackets are pointless - they may fit a car but not the 86! However, this wasn't a major hassle for Matt at Rogue who produced some custom mounting brackets. The stock air box is also an issue for fitment around the sandwich plate and also required a little modification. On the journey home the oil temperature gauge showed between 5-10 degrees lower than I had been seeing pre cooler (so low 80's to low 90's rather than high 80's to high 90's). Cruising on the mway without other traffic around I could see the oil temp gradually dropping so I'm quite sure that on track at speed on the straights it will give a significant drop in temperature. Getting up to temperature from cold seems to take a few minutes longer. Finally, I picked up a set of red (although they don't look very red in the picture) internal drive wheel nuts as the clearance for a socket on the Autec's is tiny.

Seems the Miltek / Bridge to Gantry team don't think they're the best either Although, probably just none of them can drive...

There's a few twincharged ones floating around in the US and Australia I believe.

With the turbo too? That's just greedy surely? đ

They're not the forged SF2's though but a cast replica as @will300 said.

Quick video from today at Curborough
-
They're all basically modular do you should be fine - ask @Mike@TD.co.uk

The TD manifold and overpipe package would get my money - proven gains time and again.
-
We measured @Ztox exhaust at an Amber meet and got 127db if I recall. Quick Google suggests this is the point for 'tinnitus' and 'permanent hearing loss' so when you meet Dan speak up!
-
Ah, lol. Hadn't spotted that. They're WRX / STI fitment then I presume?
-
Dammit, if only I'd seen these a couple of weeks ago âšī¸
-
Yes - change the manifold or remove the second cat pipe. They'll add some volume (although generally not a huge amount)
-
I think they're like stock rods - a bit of a lottery to be honest. Some seem good, some crap.
-
Rogue Motorsports black race car also blew its gearbox - they also run with near stock power. Second went, then third, then fourth if I remember correctly.
-
There you go @Church the full break down of what was replaced
-
RRG also reported having done several when mine was in. The only bit that was unusual with mine was it was third to fourth and most that RRG have done are second to third.
-
Lol. Look on the US forum at the amount of replaced gearboxes. They're definitely not strong.
-
It was covered under warranty @Church but parts alone were around ÂŖ900
