Seem to remember something about 250 of each colour but that may be wrong. Ride height is no different from the factory but obviously it could've been modified by the previous owner.

Pretty sure it has a forged engine so I'd be less worried than one without. It certainly should be quite a beast on track!

@Billyb if there is a little room to up your budgets this soundslike it ticks a lot of the boxes for you https://www.facebook.com/groups/1581880765452137/permalink/2394238607549678/?sale_post_id=2394238607549678

Fitted the third brake light lowering kit. It was all fairly straightforward - probably the trickiest bits are removing and refitting the parcel shelf itself. Looks more OEM than OEM imho.
-
To chip is with what Will has posted I had my fluid changed somewhere who didn't bleed the master cylinder and had the spongy pedal. Then Rogue Motorsport did it for me and bled the master cylinder and the problem went away.

Received this kit yesterday that removes the 'legs' that the standard 3rd brake light sits on on the parcel shelf. I'd never liked the standard arrangement but also wasn't a fan of the stick on options available as a replacement so thought I'd give this a try. Hoping to fit it at the weekend so I'll add some pictures after I've done it.

I bought some LED tinted side repeaters as I've never been a massive fan of how the OEM ones stand out against the black. These are much subtler.

After last week's two trackdays the car was a real mess. I had the car detailed today by Lee at Classic Mobile Valet including full decontamination, machine polishing and ceramic coating. If you're Midlands based I'd definitely recommend giving Classic Mobile Valet a try Few before and after and reflection shots

I believe the EcuTek only rev matches with braking but I may be wrong.
-
It's probably a bit of both. I have it on the EcuTek setting I use but also try to do it myself.

Cheers It's a weird one - I've watched videos from Anglesey and the previous Bedford and I can't hear a difference so I am a bit puzzled!
-
Mic is in the same place for both the Anglesey and Bedford videos. I did, however, have a black flag for noise which I haven't had before with this current exhaust set up - I need to have a look and see if a weld might have failed somewhere or something (I had to have a weld repaired on the HKS exhaust last year so that may be a prime candidate).

Video from Friday's trackday at Bedford. First section of the video was my first lap of the day which quickly got red flagged due to the torrential rain (I couldn't see where the track was at times!) Second part of the video was after it had dried up a little between downpours. The standing water caused a few squeaky bum moments and I've never driven on track when it was this slippery before. R compound tyres and torrential rain weren't the best mix!

This is how the tyre is looking after about 500 road miles, the Anglesey day and Bedford Wear looks pretty good and they seem to have coped with the heat at Anglesey well

Just continuing the tyre story today, along with several other members of the club, I did a trackday at Bedford. In contrast to Anglesey which had the most perfect track day weather I've experienced, Bedford had probably the worst leading to much of the morning being red flagged. The 651's were nowhere near as happy in today's weather (it was definitely not a day suited to a track tyre). They need some temperature in them to get them working properly and the torrential rain today meant it was really hard to get the temperature they need. This meant they were pretty slippy. I did about 90 miles on track today and it was very noticeable how much more grip people like @will300 had in comparison on road tyres. They did however get me home and back with no dramas in some pretty torrential rain on the motorway both on the way to and from Bedford. No tyre was ever going to be fantastic today due to the weather. After Anglesey I was really pleased with the 651's but after today a little less so (possibly unfairly). It would have been nice to have a dry day to give them a proper test on a circuit I know well but sadly it wasn't to be.

On Monday me and @will300 did a trackday at Anglesey. The weather was amazing (probably the best I've ever had on a trackday) and Anglesey itself is just an amazing circuit. Few pictures and a video of the final session of the day before it was cut short by someone unfortunately putting their car into the wall on the pit straight The 651 Sports had done about 180 miles by the time we arrived at the track. They were a bit slippy for the first and second sessions but then got much better as the day progressed and as I found their sweet spot for pressures. By the end of the day I was left pretty impressed by them and they showed minimal signs of wear.
