While I'm on the stock exhaust and still on the track wheels, one thing that has become quite noticeable is the road roar from the Cup 2's - it's quite bad!

Also, I know they have recently changed the internal design a little of the carbon tipped spec L which has dropped it from 92db to 90db.

Less resonance as the gasses exit maybe?

Thoughts that what you had already?

I can't find anything combined with the other parts but the spec L is 90db with carbon tips and 92 or 94db with titanium tips. I'll post up some readings with the manifold and carbon tips spec L when I've got mine fitted 👍

Which video is the syms one on? The Tommy Kaira is a bonkers noise! And the Trial spoiler is like "would sir like some spoiler with your spoiler?" 😂

I was thinking of it as more of a natural competitor against something like the fiesta st or 208 Gti which are around £20k but maybe you're right and they're going for it as a full on bonkers special more along the lines of a mini GP.

Any insider insight on how accurate that is? Seems a bit steep to be honest...

So after a few weeks with the stock exhaust and the JDL catted manifold on I've decided it's a bit too quiet so a new exhaust has been ordered and should be here in the next day or two. I've also had my winter wheels refurbished as 1. I didn't like the chrome and 2. As I'd expected the chrome didn't like the salt on the roads. I haven't actually picked them up yet and so obviously they're not on the car yet but here's a teaser:- Just a touch different to the chrome 😁

In stock size they're £95.78 so £383.12 for 4 and v105's are showing as £73.56 or £294.24 for 4 on love tyres which seems to be the cheapest place I can see. So they're £90 more for the 4 which is a bit more palatable than £200.

I'd doubt it'd be classified any differently to the likes of F1's, V105's, etc as it is just a road tyre (but a particularly good one it appears).
