New winter tyres arrived yesterday. I have been so impressed by the Nokian WRA3's over the last 4 years that I decided to try their replacements - the WRA4. If they improve on the A3's as much as Nokian suggest they do they should be fantastic. After my experience with the A3's on the CATDT day I'm also intending to run them for most of the year just swapping my Cup 2's on for track time and maybe July / August.

Love to hear your thoughts on the chassis mods you've got - very similar to the route I've gone with mine. Out of interest what spring rate do the Clubsports run?

225/40 is what Toyota use on the 18" options (7.5" wide) A 225 would cover you up to an 8.5" wide wheel without a load of stretch

I didn't go the short shift route as it's already pretty short but if you want to improve the shift feel a heavy gearknob, mtec shift springs and whiteline shift insert bush or perrin shift bush do a really good job.

245's are available yes. Stretch on the 225's will be about the same as on Lauren and Keith's cars (on his old wheels)

New winter tyres ordered today ready to go on the Do-Lucks. I've gone for the new Nokian WRA4's having been very impressed by the WRA3's over the last 5 years and two cars. I've gone for 225/45/17 which is narrower than I'd have liked ideally but a 235 wasn't available.
