Ah that's fair enough. Not 100% on timing as it depends on mine being ready to pick up on time. Maybe we'll bump into you on the M6 as by the time we've met up and left the services it may be about right.
-
Does it work for the people coming from Sandbach at 1pm to meet us at Corley at 2pm?
-
Looks much better!
-
Say 2pm at Corley then maybe?
-
I should be picking my car up at about 1 - I'm not 100% sure what time I'd get to KFC for - depends how long it takes to pick it up. I'd imagine it'd be closer to 1.30 or so. Is there a services on the m6 we could meet at though maybe? KFC means battling through the jct 9 shopping traffic and going past the motorway from the direction I'll be coming.

55.926 is the 86 record set recently by the Bandoh 86:-
-
I'm hoping to be jumping on the m6 at jct 9 about 1.30 with the aim of being at the hotel between 2.30 / 3.
-
The ultimate incarnation of an NA 86:- 230hp and weighs under a tonne (980kg if my memory serves me correct). Anyone that knows Tsukuba will now that 58.407 is an insanely quick time.

GT86/BRZ/FR-S Manifold/Headers From Tuning Developments
Deacon replied to Mike@TD.co.uk's topic in Tuning Developments
It's also quite open to interpretation (as much of the mot regs are) - it says a cat must be present if one was fitted but it doesn't say anything about multiple cats. As I read that as long as there is a cat, which they can tell visually and/or through the emissions results, it would be ok. -
Are you fibbing to us @Mike or is it a wheel table.... 😂
-
They don't offer the coating anymore.
-
Cheers for that. I'm still undecided on which I want to go for though and will wait to see the ACE data from @Mark@Abbey M/S before I pick between the three so I won't be looking to order quite as soon as you are.
-
I think it's things like this that put people off the Borla's
-
It's this one Sam:- http://www.part-box.com/product_info.php?products_id=121825 Cat section looks a reasonable size.
-
There have been issues with the Berk too. Seems like a lottery to be honest with all of the HFC's.
-
I think I've narrowed it down to a catted HKS manifold, the Gruppe-S manifold or the ACE 400. The catted HKS is tempting if it helps pass the emissions tests, the ACE is tempting for the sheer power and torque output it should be capable of and the Gruppe-S is tempting for the price and balance of performance it seems to offer. Hmmm....

It's interesting that in Japan the majority of tuners seem to go with Turbo's rather than superchargers. All of the top TA cars are turbo'd from the likes of Blitz, Greddy, Bandoh, Rasty, etc

These are my summer wheels (Rota Titan's in 17x9" et42 fitted with continental sport contact 5's in 235/45/17):- Fitted pic (excuse the state of the car!):- Wheels and tyres together weigh in at 18.1kg compared to 18.7kg for stock.
-
The Toyota variants on 18x7.5 also run a conservative offset of 46. The problem comes on stock suspension if you go for a wide wheel with a lower offset it ends up looking like a monster truck because the wheels stick out too much without the camber to pull them in.
-
@Knighty Due to the suspension design some camber will wear the tyres less than none on these. Mine has run on about 2.5 at the front for over a year. There is very marginal extra wear on the inside edge. Toe will wear the tyres way more than camber.
-
A problem is that a lot of the wider, lower offset wheels will need a decent chunk of camber dialled in so that they don't look silly @Knighty I'd definitely get the suspension sorted with the wheels.
-
Most wheels will tend to look pretty ropey at standard ride height @Knighty and generally the wider and lower offset the worse it will be!
-
It is only an adjustable drivers seat yes.

From June onwards they are on Wednesdays I believe and fall roughly in the middle of each month.
