My car is 3 years old today and in at RRG for a service and it's first MOT.
-
Easy enough to install I believe - they do clip into place but because they are made for the GT3 also need securing with cable ties.
-
Welcome on board. I'm local ish to you - just off jct 11 of the M6. I'm sure I'll see you at one of the Midlands meets if not somewhere before! 😊
-
Big thanks to @Mike@TD.co.uk and Nick. Bushes and brake ducts are all fitted. Car definitely feels a bit sharper and more responsive in putting the power down when pulling away. New summer wheels and full geometry set up are booked in for the 7th so car should be handling very nicely by then.

At TD today ahead of the big meet tomorrow having rear diff insert bushes, subrame insert bushes, front castor bushes and GT3 front brake ducts fitted.
-
Yeah sorry! Wrote the measurements under the wrong headings.
-
I had a look for the measurements. Sadly I only had a tape measure to use to get these measurements and the shape of the arb's mean it was quite difficult to get them perfectly. For the rear arb I measured a length of 91cm, thickness of 2cm and the arms splay out diagonally and I measured those as 19cm. For the front arb I measured a length of 101cm, thickness of 1.6cm and the arms splay in diagonally and I measured these as 14cm. Hope that helps but if there is anything else just let me know.
-
There is also potentially a coupe coming Now that I'd definitely take! If this makes it to production I'm pretty sure it'll be my 86 replacement eventually.
-
I have them off my car. Could get you some measurements tomorrow if you let me know what you want?
-
Pretty sure you can @Keethos
-
Shame to see you go Jamie - always really liked what you'd done to your car
-
Suggestion seem to be that it'll be around £2500 more than the soft top. If I was in the market now I think it's where my money would go between the 86/brz and this.
-
I have some Rays duraluminum nuts and these are wearing incredibly well - they're available in red too. I've also had cheapy steel and aluminium nuts in various colours and they've all chipped and worn fairly badly to a greater or lesser extent.
-
I've been watching a lot of the Best Motoring videos while I'm off ill and I've noticed that Keiichi Tsuchiya also uses the throttle in a very similar way especially on the touge battles (which are run on a course similar to British B roads).
-
To do it properly though I believe you'll need the white socks and loafers.... 😊
-
Seems Senna was a toe-toe man
-
I put them seperately as one was the brz and one the 86.

Found on the US forum http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=103185 Digital display in the instrument cluster looks interesting and front bumper looks much better than the new 86 one to me. Think it'd be a brz for me if I was to swap to a facelift.
-
Few more details popping up on Facebook. Apparently the power steering has been reprogrammed and there are changes to spot welds and material thicknesses in the chassis.
-
Pretty sure Cosworth said about seeking manufacturer approval at the open day a lot of us went to a couple of years back.
-
The front bumper is 😲.
-
Bad news on the wheels but it's looking beautiful!

Yeah definitely all helps. It's only 10ps more though (260 compared to 250) isn't it? It will be very interesting to see how your cars compare that's for sure 👍- 101 replies

Deacon replied to Mike@TD.co.uk's topic in Tuning Developments
It's only very lightly tuned (exhaust, etc) and the tyres and rear wing don't make much difference on the straight acceleration. They even state in the video that the big difference is the final drive.- 101 replies

Although this video is of s2000's watch from about 2.55 and you'll see a pretty clear illustration of the difference a shortened final drive can make on the mcr s2k- 101 replies
