I took part in another sprint at Curborough yesterday. Here are a few videos:- Helmet-Cam Bumper-Cam Windscreen-Cam

I've had springs and 3 sets of coilovers on mine and would agree with most of what you say, however, the Tein Flex A's do have one considerable advantage over everything else I've tried and that's the improvement in ride quality even over a stock car. That's with my car now dropped about 50mm all round so I would expect an even better ride with less drop. For me what would make them worth the about £900.

I haven't signed up for track time yet - too many outgoings this month! It may be worth dropping them a message on the facebook event page and, if you still haven't heard when you see this message, let me know and I'll drop the chap I've been talking too a message too.

Cheers Nigel! Supporting mods have only really been to ensure I could get the alignment I wanted. I haven't been down your way for a while - are you going to Japfest 2 at all - I could bring the springs along to that of that was helpful?
-
They are 6.5kg each - although I weighed them on some bathroom scales at a little under 7kg.
-
Cheers. It was the weight to price ratio that really attracted me - easily the cheapest wheels for that light a weight.
-
Cheers. They are Konig Daylites.

One of the photographers at Curborough took this picture and I really liked it so thought I'd add it here:- (Credit: JPEG Photography)

Yep, that's the one!

Still a different suspension set up to stock though.

Remember that the track time needs to be booked via the organisers

I asked Matt Keith's question, his reply is below:- For Right Hand Drive cars, you guys have to use the 150 or 250. The 350 will not fit. The 150 has the 2-1 collection point closer to the engine- resulting in a higher peak HP but lower torque The 250 has the 2-1 collection point further from the engine- resulting in a slightly lower peak HP but better torque. I have been recommending the 250 as the extra torque helps for corner exit and B-road driving Abbey has the 250
-
Yep, as stated in the first post.
-
I thought from what Matt had said that Abbeys is a type B too? May have misread it though. Be good to see what the ceramic coating costs come out as :-)
-
Matt from Ace replied. Both the type A and B are available with the 150 and 250 collector. There is however a 4 month back order on the type A!

Haha! Oops. Holidays what can I say!

I've emailed Mat at Ace so I'll update as soon as I have a reply. I'm almost certain the answer is yes though.
-
I believe so - I will double check when I get chance though.

They are but needed further development. I had them on for about 4 months ish.
-
Both collector types are available I believe. There is no set closing date - just when there are five people.
-
I've has the AST lowering springs, Meister GT1's, Meister Zeta S and now the flex a's.
-
Having now tried 4 different suspension set ups on the 86 I can honestly say the flex a's really are excellent. I'd like to try some back to back with the flex z's and see what difference the hbs makes.
