  1. The information I have from fb suggests you can just pay on the day for single runs but the half and full day need to be prebooked. As Mike and Lauren said it shouldn't be any worries for your tyres and breaks! Are you joining us Lauren?

    Camber Adjustment on Teins

The bolts aren't really load bearing bolts though - they are only hand tightened. I've just had a look in the installation manual and it clearly shows the bolts together (picture below) as in my pictures so I'm a bit confused now?

Ok thanks for clarifying that Lauren but do you know why? Having seem the dampers apart I'm struggling to see what difference that would make?

I understand what your saying in the first part of your post Lauren but not the second? The bolts are as RRG set them - when Blink did the meisters they also had the bolts together? Doesn't seem to say anything in the manual about them being apart from what I can see.

Don't think these will be that helpful but these are the pictures of mine:-

  11. Ok I'll start a list, please add yourself on folks! It's a nice central location not far from the m6 and just off the A38 near Lichfield in the Midlands.
  12. I've asked for clarification on the half day and full day. Individual runs are min £3 donation I belive.

The marks don't seem to equate to anything I don't believe. I can post a picture of mine when I get home which is -2.5 degrees but whether setting yours the same would give the same setting I have no idea!

    Potential BRZ owner

Also worth meeting up with a local with a modified one - a few mods make these come alive! On the brz / 86 front have you considered the servicing costs? Subaru charge a lot more for the pleasure than Toyota do!

EBC brake pads - red or yellow?

The project mu's they ran on the rent4ring brz's look pretty good. Expensive though. Very expensive.
  20. Could you bring out the old 'why do you need new shoes, coat, dress (delete as appropriate)' argument as a comparison of why you need mods? Or change the wife??

Maybe although I'm not 100% convinced if I'd get enough use from it to justify the cost and I'm not sure I want to add more electronics that could potentially cause future issues. Definitely thinking about it though.

Just a quick update on the flex a's. I met up with Will300 and Keithos last night. Keith gave me a ride in his car with hsd coilovers on dropped about 30mm which are very, very firm and let you feel every imperfection on the road but pretty much eliminate body roll so give quite a nice track biased ride. Will's car is still on standard suspension and his thoughts agreed with what I'd thought may be the case; the flex a's actually ride better than oem and that's with it dropped 50mm. I really can't fault the flex a's at all - riding better than oem, dropped 50mm and set half way from full stiff. I'm on track next month so I'll add some thoughts on how they cope there and whether the excellent street ride is at the cost of on track performance or not.
