I changed mine to an Anarchy Motive one which is the heaviest gear knob currently available I believe and so helps with the shift feel. It's also longer than the stock one so brings the shifter closer to the wheel.

I can't help sorry but just wondered how come you're going back to standard Jay?
-
Just thinking out loud but how possible would it be to have forum names on the back - be really handy for shows!

I like it a lot James. I'm considering ordering a primo boot and having both set ups to alternate.

Toyota Sports Day 2015
Deacon replied to chillismoke's topic in Meets/Show & Shine - Pictures & Videos
It was an awesome day. I got 54.22 on the 4x4 2 penalties Quickest in the autotest of 32.01 Egg and spoon we got something like 6 minutes - the drone was flying over us and kept knocking the egg off! I got a high 17's in the knockout but murdered a cone (twice!) So that was the end of that! Really was so much fun though - the t-shirts were really nice and I loved the lunch boxes. I've got a real sports day at school tomorrow - don't think it's going to be quite as good somehow...- 18 replies

Cheers Nige. I think it's the only one in the UK currently.

Cheers. The rim is part of the wheel.

When I changed my spoiler I took a few spoilerless pictures too. I really like it:-

My spoiler arrived on Friday and I fitted it Friday evening as I was giving the car a clean ready for the Toyota Sports Day. I've only got a quick couple of pictures at the moment though:- It's a Legsport Clubsport Ducktail in carbon fibre. It's amazing how light it is compared to the stock spoiler.

My favourite event was the autotest - and not just because I got the fastest time of the day! (Sorry Smudge ) I really enjoyed the hilux event too, drifting in the mud was fun! -

Wet sports day - really is like a proper school one! -
Got a few bits to spruce the wheels up today:- Big thanks to Ben at Rare Rims - the nuts were my prize from karting on the other forum - ordered yesterday and received today!

Mine with no badges and a custom badge to replace the Toyota badge:-

Good call. I don't think mine could be as low as it is if my wheels weren't pretty conservative in size and fitment.
-
Jealous mate! Cheers for the confirmation though ☺

So 345mm front, 350mm rear?
-
If you can get an accurate measurement from the hub centre to the arch the stock is definitely 370mm so that would give an exact lowering figure? I definitely thought yours was lower than mine whenever I've seen it (when I was on springs not now obviously!)
-
Stock is 370mm so 330mm would give a 40mm drop. 40mm is more what I would have expected having seen your car.
-
I thought you were talking about rear control arms - my mistake. Having looked at your drop at Japfest I really would be shocked if that's all yours is dropped - my lowering springs dropped the car 30mm from stock and the tyre / arch gap was noticeably more than on your car?
-
Rear camber is no problem - I've got the -2 degrees I wanted. Grounding on pillow Speedbumps is an issue. Having seen yours Lauren I'd be amazed if it's just a 20mm drop. I measured my standard ride height as 370mm middle of wheel to arch - be interested to see what yours is.
