They needed a lot of development work Lauren which I wasn't aware of when I bought them. I worked with BAD and Meister to solve one issue but there was another issue which we couldn't resolve. I'm too far from BAD for it to work out with me being the development guinea pig really as it's a 6 hour round trip for me. It's a shame as when they do have them fully developed I think they'll be excellent.

So in the end I had to give up on the Meister R Gt1's so it's back to suspension hunting now! Think I'm going to give the Tein Flex A's a try.

Nige, this is awesome. If you need a shakedown driver... ;-)

Competition Time! - Toyota Sports Day 2015 - 20th June

Why I should be selected:- I'm Batman. "It's the GT86 the Drivers club deserves, the one it needs right now. So we'll hunt him. Because he can take it. Because he's our GT86. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. A dark knight." - Lt. James Gordon -
Fingers crossed. When I ordered it said two to three weeks so I'm hoping I'll have it by the end of June at the latest.

No still waiting to hear :-(

It is James. I can't wait!

As soon as it's fitted I'll get pictures up. I'd like to pop down and see your project in the flesh, so to speak Nigel, so you can see it fitted. Thank you, I'll look forwards to receiving it.

Theoretically an even spring rate should give a stiffer front end and softer rear so making the car more likely to understeer. A softer front spring should help keep the car more 'balanced' front to rear and so the handling more neutral. Obviously other settings would effect this such as damper valving, arb rates, etc.
-
It's in one of the Japanese parts catalogues I've got.
-
I noticed the trd coilovers have a 3.5 front spring but a 5.75 rear.
-
I would think 5kg front 6kg rear. The front has an almost 1 motion ratio where as the rear is 0.75 so it effectively reduces the rear spring rate.

No problem matey.

I've got a decibel meter which I can bring to a meet sometime?
-
Whiteline make some. I used the ones that came with my coilovers when I fitted mine.

Ordered this today. Never been a fan of the stock spoiler.

That's £330 you've just cost me James! :-)
-
It's a few body bits I have my eye on.
-
Dammit James you've just made me browse japan parts. I fear this may be expensive... ;-)

I have -2.5 degrees camber at the front and -2 at the rear. That also feels fine and I've done lots of local and long distance drives with it like that.

Nice pictures as always Will!

I have it on mine and I'd agree with Keith, it's very good for the cash - one thing to bear in mind though is it does add a chunk of nvh.
