Right guys I've got two suggestions for you all. Both are near one of the A419 junctions at the South Cerney lakes which has a number of cafes and restaurants as well as lots of great roads around which aren't too busy. The first option would be a restaurant which over looks one of the lakes and has a large car park split into sections, perhaps we can 'take over' a section and all get together. This place does really lovely food and would be a great place for a meeting. If you think you might've eaten enough meals by then, the second option would be a cafe further along the road from the restaurant mentioned above. Again this is close to the A419 for those that are travelling and has a massive car park however, not split into sections. My thoughts behind a cafe were we could have a chat and something to eat, then go for a small drive around the local roads. Or would you prefer to have more of a drive? I can find a good route for us all to do?

Is it a new shape car?

Keep your key away from your phone. My brand new BRZ hasn't had an issue and I always keep the key in the opposite pocket to my phone. Similar to a hotel door key, your phone can interfere with the device reading the key/card

Hello all, Myself and another member of the forum are looking into importing carbon front splitters for the 2017 BRZ and want to know if there’s any interest on here. Currently there are no 2017 splitters being sold in the UK in carbon or polyurethane. A few places are advertising that their splitter will fit the 2017 car however a recent experience of mine has proven they don’t were the seller said after the splitter had been delivered that “oh if you’ve got a facelift it won’t fit”. The splitter were looking at will come from a racing company in America. It’s designed as a an STI part similar to the one on the BRZ STI tS coming out next year. This means that it should be a simple fit and won’t need any modification. The splitter will sadly only fit the new shape of the BRZ and not the GT86. The price of the splitter would be around the 350 mark making it on the cheaper side of the market for carbon splitters. I’ve attached some photos below for you to see what it looks like. Yes the market would be small, we hoped there might be enough interest to get some imported. If we decide to begin selling them I'll be sure to register as a trader, just an idea at the moment.

I'm very interested in the action days, there's usually a range of things going on with the chance to go on track. It would be good to get a group of cars on stand at a few of them as they got a lot of interest last time. I've attached a pic below of them both. My car went out on their 'Supercar Saturday' doing fast laps for stroke victims and went well however it won't be out on a action day as I don't trust some of the people action days attract. They usually have a fast car and no skill, or just rely on their electronics to get them round!

Oh okay, yeah let me know please and I'll have a look at the Ohlins kit as I've only really looked at TIEN so far.

What did you go for in the end? I'm looking at getting a set of the TIEN Monosport in the new year for my car so would be keen to hear your opinion if you went with them.

Yeah 50 sounds like a lot. I read more around 35 was better, perhaps I'll go for something around 42 - in the middle.

Just a quick question about the wheels, do you know what et these are? I'm interested to know what Toyota felt was the best dimensions for their cup racing wheel, especially as I'll be ordering a set of the road Ultraleggera's very soon.

Okay, looks like the 18x8 might be best to go for with the 225/40/18. I saw the BRZ tS will have 18x7.5 which is why I questioned the thinner widths. Are the Michelin Pro Sport 4 the best tyres to for as a summer tyre?

I wonder if you guys could give me your opinions, I'm looking at getting a set of OZ HyperGT HLT 18" wheels after the winter and I'm unsure on the width to go with and also which suspension to go with them. Initially I'm thinking of 18x7.5 or 18x8 but I'd be keen to get your opinions, the car will be set up towards track but is a daily. Suspension wise I'm thinking of the TIEN flex A or the Sachs. Sachs are being used on the BRZ tS later as the STI track suspension however the TIENs seem just as good at a much cheaper price!! Yeah it was the Forge Action Day, we had a stand and our two cars on it. The Ice cream van decided to join us as we were so lonely! Shame you didn't see the thread back in August though, would be nice to meet some more members of the forum. Where are you based?
