OZ Formula HLT 18x8 with 225/40/18 Eagle F1 Assy3. Each wheel/tyre weighs 19.0 kg against OEM 17", on same scales, at 18.4 kg

Thanks Guys. Will - ET48. I tried them with the Eibach spacers still in place from the oem wheels, 10mm front and 20mm rear. Gives about the same effect as ET35 I imagine. And yes - about time!! I was ready to push the button on Rota Grids in hyper black, but the call of the OZ, which I have used for years now on Subarus, called me back! And these are not very common on the GT.

Seen at Geneva yesterday. Toyota C-HR
Subota Boy replied to Squadrone Rosso's topic in Non GT86/BRZ General Chat
I get what Lauren is saying completely, and that is a considered opinion she offers. You just have to get used to the power delivery, or put it in sport mode, where the engine does not labour so much, and the auto changes happen quicker. Sadly, it's not really aimed at those who prize driver involvement and fun at the top of the list. Having said that, there are at least three former GT owners on the C-HR forum who, having had doubts about transferring from the GT to the C-HR, have found it to be a satisfying transition (they report). I am lucky enough to be able to enjoy both. The chassis development is clearly there on a B road, and the additional low down weight of the batteries helps on those tight corners. The steering is great too. And those primacy 3's really suit the car, and I have not been able to unstick them yet. But then I might well be too frightened to be trying enough. Recent club meet -

Lights, Spacers, Hoses wheels, nuts, fender trims, boot mat, coilies, oz
Subota Boy replied to jevvy's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
Hi Jevvy Many thanks for the pics on the car. Gives a great idea of how they would look. Presumably the valves are TPMS? I don't have the system myself but I guess that's of no consequence to fitment. In the pic of the 4 wheels, concerning the wheel bottom right in the pic, is that a small nick out of the rim edge at 9 o'clock on the wheel? Many thanks for your time. Keith- 18 replies

Subota Boy replied to will300's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
Will - do you have a pic of the back of the car with these on, so I can see the stance? Presumably, with the tyre off the wheel, that little nick could be filed flat? -
Subaru 18" Wheels and Dunlop Tyres.
Subota Boy replied to CTolly's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
Hi Chris These wheels are confirmed as a Subaru accessory. Are they subject to a tyre pressure monitoring system? Car looks good, by the way Thanks again. -

Never seen these before. May be interested. What make wheels are they please? Are they from a Subaru accessories catalogue maybe? Any idea of the wheel and tyre weight please? Have you a pic of them on the car? Many thanks -
Carbon effect tail and head light eyebrows
Subota Boy replied to Danellen2989's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
I understand they may not fit properly over my Valentis but I would like to have a look see. So next time you are down, maybe let me know so I can try a fitting? -

I am in Eastbourne, and may very well be interested !! -
Peace of mind was my reason for going Cosworth. Had it almost a year now (stage 1 and 2) and it all feels very OEM, giving no strain on the standard components, which cope very well with the additional power delivery. Finding the Primacys a bit of a handful in the wet under a generous power application, so they will be binned shortly. They work okay in the dry though.

Sorry Guys. Not far enough south-east for me, being right on the Sussex coast. Hope it's a good one for you. -
Welcome, Mr Woohoo, from another Sussex member. Very nice Blanco. Did you buy from Mr Doug Saunders at Yeomans?

Well after a 200 mile round trip, with lots of roundabouts, and still being less than 300 miles worn, I can confirm that the weight does seem to help. The tyres were very progressive on a wet roundabout! Very impressed, and very different from the HP.
-
Our C-HR comes with the Primacy3 on an 18" rim. They don't seem to let go like the HP, and seem very suited to the dynamics of a crossover vehicle.

That is a great review, Lauren. Very interesting!
