Anyone with a Cossie S/C south of London?

Roll on next week!! -
Don't know if the Club is interested in this? Sounds more like the original event at Leeds Castle. "With the Siege gathering momentum for 2016, we have secured an area for 300+ cars to display at Brands Hatch once again raising money for the Royal Navy and Royal Marine Children's Fund. Our team will be bringing the atmosophere with them so we hope for an amazing family day. We aim to have the Sporting Bears involved helping to give passenger rides in return for donations and a possibilty of some of these rides taking place on track. Passenger rides around the famous Brands circuit in Ferrari's, Lamborghini's and McLaren's should make for an amazing memory. Amazing prizes for both the show and shine area and best in show. "

Anyone with a Cossie S/C south of London?
Subota Boy replied to Subota Boy's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
Keith I was very lucky to be steered towards a car local to me, and the test drive was a revelation. For me the Cossie kit ticked all the boxes, and showed what a capable car the GT is, bearing in mind that the car had standard suspension, brakes, wheels, and even tyres! This enabled me to make a decision without having tried all the other combinations, because it meant I could see how the system would suit my particular range of mods. You are absolutely right to require a test drive as only then will you feel comfortable about the financial outlay. I will say that the technical support I am receiving from the Guys at Cosworth, in order to get the correct map set up for my exhaust system, is very comforting. Regards Keith -

We are up for this too!! -
Took my Grandson Niall out for his first spin in the GT. He remarked how all the cars we passed were looking at the car. I never get to notice that! He thought the seats were very comfortable and loved the noise. He also remarked that his Grandad had a nicer car than his Dad.............

We shall be there Nigel. Thursday probably.

Not a fan of the front - looks like it is getting a BRZ-style gumshield. Steering wheel boss looks much bigger than the current wheel and more appropriate to a saloon car. If those rear lights had been on the current model, I would not have changed to Valentis. If those fender trims had been on the current model I would not have changed to BRZ trims. So I have already got the bits I like, in effect.

Charity Track day at Goodwood circuit. Lots of exotics going round the track. Google Saywell for pics of previous events. No charge to park up and watch. I shall be there.
-
Not surprised Mark and I like this, Kev. We already do the "car and lady thing". Doesn't mess with my head at all!
-
I have a separate thread on here in modifications, having just fitted the Valenti reverse light. Much brighter than the OEM light.
-
Mark, I have no idea whether the unit has the flashing brake option. The diagram seems to suggest the triangle can work separately from the v-bar, but not necessarily as a flashing item. The diagram not very clear and the text in japanese.

Nik, I believe they can be wired to operate as a brake light, but don't know if you have to change any connections within the lamp itself. Some guys in USA have had to fiddle with the internals, but I believe their light combinations operate differently anyway due to US law.
