Same. I usually drop them to 32psi after the sighting laps and then monitor every so many laps afterwards to try and keep them all in the low 30’s

Im running a SuperBatt 072 80ah 650cca. It was the strongest battery I could find that still fits the standard battery tray. Had it nearly 2 years now and even after leaving the car parked/alarmed(keyless)/unused for over a month it still starts first attempt.

Crocodile electric remote roller door owner here. I’ve had it now 5 years and its never put a foot wrong. I loved it so much I bought my father one too for his 60th. Mine is identical to this (picture found on a quick google search) - If you try and lever it up with a crowbar the motor turns on and forces it back down again, so its proper secure.

Track day gone wrong...front end parts wanted
Leeky replied to LOWCAR's topic in Wanted GT86 / BRZ Cars and Parts
Hate to say it but I don't think that’ll ever be safe to go back on the road... thats some significant damage. -
How much do insurers load premiums for a catback?
Leeky replied to Twigman's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
All my mods declared to Admiral (Wheels, exhaust, remap etc) and all I had to pay was the admin fee. -
They dont have Cosworth stickers on them or EBC stickers. The Cosworth logo’s are printed/etched straight onto the metal. I’ve nothing but good words to say about the quality of the Cosworth products. I have their Stage 1.2 NA tune with their sump baffle and their brake pads. All the parts I’ve come into contact with look/feel first rate. I have a stack of their air filters ready for a lifetime of services. I just wish they did more parts for the 86!

I heard that rumour too but never seen any evidence to back it up. I had some EBC’s fitted before. They didn’t feel as good as the Cosworth pads and they dont look like the same pad at all. If EBC do make them for Cosworth then it must be a Cosworth spec pad and I take back every bad word i’ve ever said about EBC lol

Help needed. Recommendations on replacement battery
Leeky replied to Rob_86's topic in ICE/Electrical
I got an extra big battery off the net - SuperBatt 072 80ah. Only cost me £59.99 My car has sat unused for over a month before now (even with keyless entry) and it always starts first time. -
Reverse Camera - only working when started in reverse
Leeky replied to Cadders96's topic in ICE/Electrical
I have the genuine Toyota reversing camera kit from the US. It takes a constant 12v feed (which i have coming off the back of the cigarette lighter) and the stock Headunit decides to switch to it when you go into reverse. -
Interested in any brand of strut brace as long as its got an integrated brake stopper. I’ve got a brand new Beatrush Brake stopper that i’ve never fitted which I could part-ex against if interested. Only reason I haven't fitted it is because my car is an Auto and there is a loom in the way that i’m not prepared to modify/move. This wont be a problem for a manual car as they don't have this loom. Drop me a PM if you have one up for grabs.

Beatrush Brake Stopper - Swap for any other 86 parts
Leeky posted a topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
Hi All, Boxed and Brand new, never fitted. Bought this but not going to use it after all. Looking to swap it for any interesting GT86 parts. I’ve got an automatic so not interested in anything manual specific. Ideally looking for any chassis braces or genuine TRD/Gazoo/Cosworth items. But not interested in suspension, exhausts, wheels or consumables like air/oil filters/brakes. Happy to trade this plus cash if you have something more expensive to pass on. Located in Reading, Berkshire. -
Beatrush Brake Stopper - Swap for any other 86 parts

Sold. Please close thread. -
Yeah I saw this. Good luck to them trying to enforce this. Its as crazy as the proposed fines for people sat in traffic with their engine running

Just picked this up, but I’m not yet sure whether I’m going ahead with fitting this or another type of brace. Looking online I think these are generally about £400 all in brand new (Approx £300 + shipping/VAT/Duty from Japan). So thinking £200 would be a fair price used? I’ve not seen another GT86 with one of these in the UK so quite rare I suspect? Drop me a PM if interested. Located in Reading, Berkshire. Collection only. Not really looking for offers, just putting the feelers out there. Will probably keep it if its not worth £200 to anyone. Cheers!

Looks like a Tom’s strut brace to me, so no bubble burst... https://www.darksidemotoring.com/products/toms-racing-front-upper-strut-bar-toyota-ft86-subaru-brz Thanks for the heads up. I didnt know there were knock offs floating about. Without DNA testing it I guess we’ll never know lol But i’ve no reason to suspect its not genuine Shame that companies are allowed to get away with blatantly ripping off other peoples parts. Looks like im keeping it and putting it on my car then Admins - Please close the thread. No longer for sale.

General FI questions - Rod strength and supercharger whine
Leeky replied to Leeky's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
Cheers guys. So what you say confirms what I suspected SC whine wise from all the time i’d spent googling. So I just need to decide whether I wanna go Cossie Charger or if its worth paying the extra for the Sprintex whine. -
Thanks for the offer but I've already got a full system. Cheers all the same.

Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I didnt realise Fesnport sold them. I’m not prepared to loose any more money on it, so i’ll aim to swap it for other parts instead.

Taken straight from the Beatrush Website

I’ve actually had a few PM’s about this. I bought the brake stopper brand new for £80 (£50 plus shipping/import tax) So would be looking to get back the £50 and will take the £30 shipping/taxes on the chin. Drop me a PM if you want to come collect the Brake stopper for £50 cash.

Hi All, Having a garage clear out and selling my OEM exhaust. Everything from the first cat/manifold back. Includes gaskets. Came off a 2014 car which had only 16k miles from new when removed. Prices on these vary a lot depending on price/condition so im looking for offers. Would px/swap for other 86 bits. PM me with an offer if you are interested to buy or want to trade.
