Not really sure what you mean by this? My understanding is that our cars retard the ignition on cold start? This gives rise to increased noise, even on a standard exhausted car? Recent Ecutek software iterations reduce this retard? If this is the case, then less retard from cold will reduce noise, whichever exhaust? Stephen

Curious as to what folks have lying around, looking for a 2.5" stainless pipe, non resonated, that has standard fitting between the over pipe and rear section. Stephen

just picked up a HKS system, this will be fitted next month when I have an Ecutek to reduce start up retard, rest of the system is 2.5" over pipe and 2.5" resonated 2nd cat replacement. I will provide feedback. Stephen

Why not Ecutek your car and have less retard on the ignition for startup? Stephen

After listening to your system Lauren I hard wired an iPod rather than listening to Bluetooth music and there really is a big improvement and the iPod is easier to navigate compared to a memory stick Stephen

Having changed a couple of exhaust components I find my exhaust note noisy on start up, but only on start up,if one were to have some ECU tinkering, is it possible to dial out the start up enrichment on ecutek and other variables?Stephen

I have replaced some of my exhaust, which makes her noisier on startup, but not much more so when warm, I am now looking to replace the rear pipe which has a small silencer and bolts to the rear box, which can only make matters worse. Looking for solutions, one of which could be an ecu tune? For those that have done so, is it possible to reduce the startup enrichment? Thanks Stephen
