Set of 4 OZ 17 inch wheels with tires. Contisport 5’s with approx 6mm of tread and Michelin Primacy with 4mm tread. I no longer have the car and the wheels are gathering dust all wheel nuts included but the finish on them has corroded. Any sensible offer considered Stupid offers with be met with a suitably rude reply As you can see from the photos, other than 1 being a bit Kerbed and one with 2 tiny chips they’re in good condition. Tires are undamaged with no repairs

Well the curve says it all. Great result. Sadly not really been able to fully appreciate the results as the drive back to Bristol was 170 odd miles of motorway. Initial impression is that the car is in one gear lower than it is, pick up is quite instant. Looking forward to putting some A and B road miles on the car as soon as possible. i know I won’t be disappointed. Thanks to Mike and his unseen grafting brother for great service.- 231 replies

That’s just the sort of report I wanted to hear. Mines due to have exactly the same engine mods next Saturday. Sounds like the long round trip from Bristol will be well worth the journey. Thanks😎- 231 replies

You mean there is a hole in the floor under the carpet? I'm sticking with the stock exhaust system beyond the new headers. I’ve always think it’s just a thrashy engine note, which is half the reason I’m going for the UEL headers when I have the TD NA tune in 4 weeks time. If I can reduce the cabin noise great. It’s never going to ‘sing’ like a 6 cylinder engine so the quieter the better. Especially on motorways. Sounds like my car is going to be a massively better drive pretty soon. Thanks for the feedbacks so far guys.- 231 replies

Mines booked for 3 weeks time for the same mods. Interested in the remark about getting the sound not pumped into the cabin. How’s that achieved?- 231 replies

Well I’m booked for the 10th February. All the way from Bristol but reading the reviews and advice from forum members I pretty confident it will be worth the trip.- 231 replies

Interesting read. Do you happen to know the part numbers? Are the new parts better finished to avoid corrosion in the future? Thanks.

I was on the verge of going UEL but wondered what improvement you might achieve just by a remap. Anybody tried this without swapping the exhaust manifold. thanks

So has it sold yet?

Hi folk just joined up even though we've owned our Blue 13 plate GT86 for over 3 years. Decided it's time to improve the torque and get a slightly more sporty exhaust note. Didnt plan on any more than that until I spotted the 20% discount on the Cosworth kit. Now I'm having doubts that missing out on this deal will cause massive regrets pretty quickly. Im not after massive power gains and I don't want an obnoxiously load exhaust note. Will I be happy with a Fensport exhaust and remap? I know it personal preference but some of you guys must have been in a similar situation. Thnaks in anticipation of some input.

Do they have to be 'bling' red?
-
Remapping required to maximise gains?
-
Thanks for this input today. I'll be on the phone to TD in the morning..

Thanks for the words of wisdom. I'm not chasing ultimate BHP numbers, just a plumped up and flatter torque curve. The car is unlikely to go on track and I've no desire to attract police attention so an uneven exhaust manifold, freer flowing exhaust with a bespoke engine map might be enough for me.

Are the guys at Tuning Development as knowledgeable as The Fensport guys? Way closer to me in Bristol rather the Fensport. Spoke to Fensport last week and was very impressed with the attitude of the guy I spoke to on the phone. What I really don't want is a loud exhaust, I'd sacrifice a bit of power for refinement.

Well I've not spent a bean on our car in almost 4 years other than servicing and some pretty OZ 17 wheels so it's been cheap to date. Any idea where I can drive a Cosworth car to get a feel? I really don't want to feel underwhelmed after an exhaust and tune which I'm guessing is going to cost £1500 + anyway
