Chappers replied to Chappers's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Cars
I forgot it initially, but put it in with the edit! Price is £17500 -
As suspected I’m away that weekend, so we’ll have to arrange something else I guess!
-
Ok cool, standard tips, resonated, open day if I’m about, otherwise I’ll pay for it and collect it or pay for delivery at a later date.
-
Hi sorry I’m on a business trip and not getting much internet time. What do I need to do?
-
Ouch, my supercharged car is showing 23mpg on the dash now which makes my 27 mile (each way) commute a little expensive

@Derby_guy is this the splitter you meant? It would look great with the bootlid and spoiler, would definitely balance the car (not to mention the new aero!)

Hi all, Having bought a GT86 with these parts, I now have them in my ownership but don't really want to keep them. They're currently being stored at Fensport. They seem to be £804 (wing) and £951 (bootlid) new , looking at the Fensport website: https://www.fensport.co.uk/parts/toyota/gt-86/zn6/body-parts/gt86-seibon-carbon-rear-spoiler-ag-style/ https://www.fensport.co.uk/parts/toyota/gt-86/zn6/body-parts/gt86-seibon-carbon-rear-boot-lid-oem-style/ I'm told they're in good condition, although I've not actually seen them. I guess it's best if they go together because the boot probably has the mounting points for the wing? Anyway, let me know if you're interested in buying. Ideally I would like around half their new value each for them (£400 and £450) so £850 for the pair, but open to offers. Pictures will be added shortly, once I've been sent them. Thanks

related question... for those of us with oil pressure gauges, what kind of pressures should I be seeing in various driving conditions?

Morning all, I've been commuting daily in my new car, this might be a question for Keith tbh but I thought I'd throw it out there. The only thing I can think of is that it was windy last night and this might have disturbed some kind of immobiliser fitted to the vehicle? But without making assumptions I'll describe what happened, step by step: Left my door, walked to the car (which has keyless entry) Interior light came on as normal, car unlocked with door handle pull. Foot on brake, pressed brake pedal. All lights came on as normal and then instantly went dark with no response from anything, like a complete lack of 12v supply to the interior systems I've been reading about flat batteries, so assumed it was that and proceeded to get out of my car to grab my CTEK from the garage. As I closed the door of the car, all the interior lights came back on as if it was ready to start the engine... Weird, I thought, so got back in. Pressed starter button and again everything switched off and became unresponsive. Got out of the car a second time, closed the door, everything comes back on. Opened the door, pressed the start button to manually turn everything off, closed the door, locked the car, unlocked the car. Got back in, pressed the starter. Car starts as normal and I drove to work... Anyone had this? Is this an electrical fault? Gremlin? Ghost? Aliens? Thanks in advance!

Didn’t do it this evening when I went home, could it have just got confused about whether I was in the car or not?

Yeah not a clue I'm afraid... as is the way when you buy someone else's very modified car.

Another bump, really surprised all the interest in these has died down? -
Long overdue post here, I actually got this car on 28th October, bought from Special K. Unfortunately there were a couple of issues and the car had to go back to Fensport to be sorted, I went away on business and then by the time I got the car back I couldn't find time to take pictures or post about it. Quick spec list: Vehicle is a 2012 Auto HKS Supercharged, fully forged engine build 250whp or thereabouts, about 300bhp at the engine. Milltek full system TEIN Street Flex 6kg Rear / 5kg Front with EDFC Summit rear arms Summit braces all round Stoptech BBK all round Custom transmission cooler SSP uprated torque converter Some of you will remember the car. When I test drove it, it looked like this: ...then I got busy. First, the spoiler and bootlid were removed, with the standard put back on. I then removed the CF bonnet too, leaving a car with the full set of silver stripes across it which made it look a lot more obvious than before. I fitted some Valenti light's I'd bought and I then put the set of standard wheels on because they had some winter tyres fitted, leaving the car looking like this: Next to go, therefore, were the stripes which was much more of a pain than I imagined. The ones on the boot and bonnet were OKish, taking about an hour total for the boot, and another for the bonnet because I did it last and had got the technique by then. The roof was another story altogether; five years of sun and cold and various things that make vinyl go off had taken their toll and it came off in about a thousand tiny bits. I think it took around 2 hours each side. Once they were all off, they'd left a line of glue all the way round so I called a mate to ask for advice, one thing left to another and 4 hours later we made some progress: after that, and a bit more adjustment to the bonnet I finally had the car where I'd like it to be right now. Full-on sleeper mode. Quite happy with it at the moment. I changed the TEIN Springs to 5kg on the front from 6kg. So far I've just driven to work but the turn in already feels better and the ride is also improved somewhat. Not really sure what I'll do next. I think pick a new set of wheels for summer and perhaps de-spoiler, just need to find a bodyshop to fill the holes in the bootlid if I do. Probably some trackdays. Hope you like it, I'm going to be here for a while! Cheers.

I've decided I don't like my carbon bonnet, and having felt how heavy the OE one isn't, I'm probably going to refit it this weekend rather than paint the carbon one. Anyone interested? Looking for £500, part is located in Bedworth, near Coventry.
