Happens when you get old

Well the forced induction choice is made but I'd just been clearing up one engineering matter around my gauges, so didn't want to say anything. Have decided to go the Litchfield SC route and with a fair wind it will be fitted by Spa; Iain will be doing my suspension as well. Been a long wait but this has largely been due to the amount of testing that he has done, and that is very important to me. Why SC? I think it suits the car and the power delivery will be perfect for my , mostly track, usage.

Senna's going.

Interesting thread on PH for those that do trackdays. Driver held liable in court for damage to another's car on track; claim bought by the other driver's insurer. http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=18&t=1332239&mid=149886&nmt=Claim+from+a+track+day

Anyone going to Brands Hatch to watch the BTTC this weekend, or watching it on tv? Well, a while back at Silverstone a BRDC Rising Star driver, called Jake Hill, took a spin in my BRZ and you can see Jake driving BTCC this weekend at the wheel of the Rob Austin/Exocet Audi.

Glad I upgraded only to 7.5 wheels!

Well the Litchfield BRZ S that is , which features in the 'trackday car of the year' feature item this month. Nice review and looks like the BRZ now handles like an 86, lol.
-
Except it is off to another magazine shortly for review.........
-
I expect you could drive it now if you wanted.

Great job. Didn't know you could get a brz in white

1. Sounds a bit like the farting I get at high revs; thought it was coming from behind the stereo though.
-
Just renewed my EVO subs and it is the only mag I but now. They must have been smoking something this month though because later on they make an unbelievable statement about the longterm 86.
-
Moderation pretty mature on there so hang in there; tech fault I suspect.

Say what LFA; what gobbledygook is that and why has my ipad put what I typed in reverse, lol

liame yb sdom fo tsil ruoy eviecer dna Email is legally binding and discoverable in litigation; that's why your insurer will happily email your policy docs these days

Only ran stock pads and rotors for a short time, including some track action; but never had a squeak from them. Used ferrodo DS uno / DS 1.11 for a while ( pretty hardcore track pads ) on AP rotors ; they squealed more than you can imagine. Currently running ds2500s which squeak a bit under light pressure but are fine when stamped on. Lots of variables with pads but if they squeal on stock set-up I'd try some harder brake applications fairly often which ought to keep things acceptable.

I take insurance so my repairs get paid for if someone takes me out or I have an act of god, on some fluids for example. In both those scenarios I'd be pissed off so insurance will make me happier In the light of this legal judgement, I think most track dayers ( who drive normalish cars ) are concerned about having to pay for someone else's GT3RS. SpecK. CCI will cover Spa. I think the fax is about as relevant a means of communication as the pigeon, these days. I usually email admincci@towergate.co.uk. My cover is included at Spa, as part of CCIs five tracks a year deal.

No it isn't, but the real concern here is about negligence related claims on trackdays, in this case bought by an insurer, who had covered someone's car on the trackday. There is a 'gentlemens agreement' that you pay for your own damage on track days, which is reflected in most track day operators terms and conditions. This case serves as a reminder that liability can still be held on track.
