Lol, in some cases they may have some ex Peugeot driver bitterness to deal with

Why are we considering a name change? -
Sorry if thus has been covered but what is the MOT position re emissions? Also ; how much does the complete system weigh? Thanks

I'm sure it is a great car but beyond looks, I'd be concerned I'd be taken for one of the legions of cocks in M kitted 120d or lesser, lol. Do BMs really have a nice image these days?
-
If it ain't broke don't fix it; I guess Strong sales in the US. Interesting that they have not chosen to iterate the car on the annual MY update, which will be positive for residuals I guess.
-
In the US, at least, it looks like there will be little change to the cars for the next model year. http://media.subaru.com/newsrelease.do?id=474&mid=1

Looks like the kiwis have been keeping some quality parts under their bushel, especially for hardcore builds. More here http://www.possumbourne.co.nz/Composite-Parts.html

Lol, it's entirely practical

I suspect your Gap policy will have a term related to you holding appropriate vehicle insurance so I think you could be on a sticky wicket if you under-insure on your main policy. There are plenty of insurers who deal in modified vehicles, with larger than 20k limits.
-
If you can typically buy one for 20k then insure it for 20k but it is worth understanding how any given firm operates at claim time. Be careful not to under insure though as this can lead to less being paid out at claim time.

How many miles and how long have you had your car?

@ShinyBRZ Lol, are you tbucket in disguise? Looser than a truckstop waitress but still smells new inside; bodywork looks a good 38,000 though -
Lol, beat me to it. Speaks volumes about how good our cars are that he rates them so closely. As I thought, a 300bhp 86 would be a formidable tool. Helps me move on my decision making re FI

Thanks Keith. Are you planning on an oil cooler / larger radiator, like Pitman?

6800 since June '12 -
Yes, it was matt and it looks great. Ducktail is a nice mod too. Surprised we have not seen more wrapped cars in the uk. I might do a colour change in 2014 or something for Le Mans.......,

Sorry for quality; good camera, long distance, pants photographer

I'd like to be able to evaluate a supercharged option alongside the AVO turbo unit which looks great; Litchfield option still not made it to market. I'm not desperate to be an early adopter. That is part of the story. I also quite like the car as it is to be honest and I occasionally think about following a more aggressive NA tuning route. Either way I'd wanted to do the Ring trip as is, and now that is out of the way I can make a decision.
