Ahhh to many choices I wanted to go 8” really so I could run 225 tyres but seeing how much lighter the 7” wheels are just makes it even harder to choose -

Thanks I know they are light sure it was like 6-7kg just had never heard of them before. the foxes like quite nice actually but would have to go to 18” for an 8” wide will look into these a bit more -
If you do get an answer back could you post it on here. Like the look of these and would be interested to see the price

It’s just strange though as I noticed it as soon as I got in the car this morning Iv driven it everyday for 4 months so surely would’ve noticed it before now. Iv never used a steering lock so really can’t work out what could cause it as if it was my ring I’d think that would only cause one lot of marks but there’s 2 lines that run parallel
-
Hi, got in the car this morning and the first thing I noticed was the steering well felt funny. I looked and it is marked as the picture, any ideas what could cause this? Iv never noticed it before the car has only done 9000miles thanks
-
It does look something has been dragged but I can’t picture what, maybe wedding ring but that’s usually on the opposite side to this. Have had the car about 4 months so I’m sure i would’ve noticed by now. Just wanted to check in case anyone else had an issue with the factory wheel. Thanks

Are the sensors on the valves on these? I was a bit confused as Iv seen some wheels say the tpms don’t fit but if it’s in the valves then surely they should fit all wheels?

Hi does anyone have any feed back on the TD non res system? Thinking of changing my plans slightly now and just changing the cat back for a bit more noise, I’m tempted with the td non res or the cobra res system. Everything else will be left stock Thinking then next year when I go for the TD manifold the res cobra should be ok and I could just buy the resonator and swap the centre pipe over if I get the TD cat back when the manifold is changed. my original plan was to remap after the summer but I’m not to happy with the grip from the stock primacy tyres so thinking before I add any more power I should sort the grip situation out, and then I’m stuck with this. Do I just fit pilotsport4’s in the standard size or get slightly wider wheels too
-
I have seen this video but I was asking about the non res with stock manifold
-
Can you send them to me too please
-
Do you have the stock manifold and second cat? I am more drawn to the td as think cobra might be a bit to loud esp when I get round to changing the manifold do you not think the resonated td will be to quiet with everything else stock as I can only find a video of this set up and I know YouTube doesn’t do any exhaust justice but it seems really quiet

Hi Does any one know if an ET35 9" wheel will fit on standard suspension, car is completely stock 2017. i think i read that a 9.5 wide would hit the suspension strut but not sure if the 9" will clear it and also not sure if that only applied to lowered cars thanks dan
-
Just seen another set I like they are 8.5 ET38. These would sit 3mm further out from the strut if I’m right compared to 9” ET35? And sit about 9mm further inside the arches woukd this extra small clearance be enough do you think on day to day driving as I don’t want to change to coilovers yet thanks

FOR SALE - Cobra Resonated Exhaust
Daninplymouth replied to Knighty's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
Did this sell? -
I'm in the same boat and rather than start a new topic i thought id jump in here for opinions if you dont mind. I have decided on the wheels i want TSW nurburgring, just stuck on 17s or 18s both are 8" wide and ET35. If going for a wider tyre on the 17's 225/45 this would have a taller side wall than standard? does this impact the handling much? and would i be right in thinking if you get XL load tyres these have stiffer sidewalls? On the 18's i would get 225/40. My question for anyone is, what is the difference with the lighter 17s with the bigger tyre vs the heavier 18s with lower profile tyres? or am i not going to really notice much of a difference on the road? i like the odd spirited drive and am planning a trip to the ring and the odd trackday as in the future. thanks

Just wanted to give a quick update. Have had my 86 for 2 weeks now, and i am really happy with it . So far the positives for me are, driving position, steering wheel feel, general feel of the car, and the mpg isnt to bad either, the led headlights are spot on too for night driving. The only criticism i have had is from the wife when she has to put the shopping in the boot, as its an only car i have to use it for all duties. My previous car was a 330bhp focus and i haven't missed the power, so much so that my long term plan was to turbo this but i may not bother with that. I will definitely be sorting out the manifold and remap but at the moment i am not feeling the need for any more power. Maybe some grippier tyres as the the stock ones arent the best but i know that is a characteristic of the car but even so think tc was cutting power when changing from 2nd-3rd in the dry. Quick question to all you that have lowered yours, how do you manage to get in and out? as i find it plenty low enough as it is, just not to keen on the massive arch gap. everyone of my friends who i have taken out have been surprised at how nice it is to drive and how it doesn't actually feel as slow as the numbers suggest and they've all been converted after mocking my choice now i just have to find a big empty space where i can get used to the feel of sliding safely

I’m hoping to get my new Toyota next week. I was gonna get a 2015 model but they seem to be holding their value really well so I’m stretching it up a bit to a 2017 model. These seem to be starting around 20k got my eye on 1 just seeing if the dealer can drop it to the 20mark it’s up for 21 at the mo 🤞

Up to about £17000 I think,of course anything less than means more for mods. First thing on my list is the TD na package and a new set of wheels
