Gave it the first clean for a while. All set for donnington Wednesday

I suppose it could be the trait of 2piece discs and when you reverse there’s a bit of movement the other way. mine were fitted by TD and have the same
-
Sure this has already been asked but seeing as the engine bay looks the same could this engine be swapped into the current models? And does it have stronger rods?

Hi I have new wheels on the way and I have ordered a set of mishimoto ally wheel nuts. Will these be ok or should I cancel them for steel ones? I know aluminium isn’t recommended much but there not super cheap eBay jobbies

Hi, quick question regarding tyre sizes as I will probably be looking at a new set soon. im currently running PS4 in 245/35, I use 9” wheels. Not sure whether to stick with these or go up to a 255. I do 3-4 trackdays a year and only use one set of wheels so thinking the wider tyres would help on track, I know it’s a compromise not having a dedicated set of spare wheels but I’m happy with that for now. Car is running 320bhp and will be forging and upping that in the future. If I go to a 255 is that likely to increase or decrease grip on the road when tyres aren’t fully hot?

Thanks I have been eyeing up the supersports too as they seem to compare to the PS4S so should be a bit better than the PS4

Just to add for the cost and effort I’d have just fitted the ksports. They maybe on the cheap end of a bbk but just because you bought a brembo caliper off a production car doesn’t make it any better. I’d hazard a guess at most the production stuff is of a poorer quality as it is built down to a price. Maybe if you’d have sourced from a broken Ferrari or something then that’d be different.

Iv just had mine fitted and I get the same on the first time I brake when backing up. I have straight grooves if that makes a difference

Tuning development NA kit, should I also get super res catback?
Daninplymouth replied to Jay Bamrah's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
I found the res to drones with the manifold swap it had a really loud jump in volume around 3000rpm no matter how little throttle you were using. I swapped mine out for the super res and found it much better although the turbo has quietened it down a bit now so tempted to go back to res. if you tried the res and found it to late I’d be happy to swap out the centre pipe with my super res 👍🏻 -
Hi, can the tpms feature be mapped out via ECUtek? I have decided on what wheels I want to fit, rota blitz. if tpms can’t be mapped out can I use sensors with these wheels? If I can fit sensors onto these rims do I have to buy new or could I get my stock ones swapped over thanks

Hi, iv always used Tesco momentum 99. The car is turbo’d and was mapped on this fuel. Is there really going to be any difference using Sainsbury’s super 97?

Hi, I’m looking to order my bbk just torn between the Reyland 4pots and the ksport set. I know there is plenty of good reviews of the ap callipers that reyland use. Is there any feedback regarding the ksports? I think there was a few issues early on but they redesigned them, on my previous car ksports were really popular and had good reviews. ksports pro’s are cheaper outright price, bigger discs and come in yellow which I wanted. Reyland have a lot of positive reviews. car is now mainly just used for fun and prob 3-4trackdays I’d like to do this year

I am running the TD turbo and going stage 2 on that at the same time. Iv tried pads and fluid and whilst better I did have a couple of issues on my last track day

Sadly it’s a way of the times that ice cars are being phased out. This is why I plan to go all out on my 86 over the next few years for one last hoorah before being forced into electric. although I have no issues with electric cars and I’m sure for 90% of people they make much better sense. I mean if I didn’t have to warm my engine up i could cut my commute in half
-
Thanks all il stick with the Tesco’s fuel
-
Thanks this what I thought. Just weren’t sure if it’d be a noticeable difference
-
I had the TD manifold and res exhaust, I found it had a really loud spot around 3000rpm. I then changed to the super red and found this perfect for my liking it’s not too quiet but not embarrassing either when you have your foot down

Going without Reinforced (XL) Sidewalls on track?
Daninplymouth replied to Leeky's topic in Modifications
I could be wrong but on track I’d have thought you’d want them as stiff as possible with minimal flex and roll so can’t eee many people running softer sidewalls -
Buy a brand new GT86 right now, or not.

I bought my facelift demo from the dealer. Had about 3000miles and I paid 20or21 I think -

Hi, I just wondered if anyone has any feedback using a higher FD when running a turbo. i used to run a 4.67 when NA but changed back to stock when having my turbo fitted, however I am missing the low down extra kick it used to have before the boost kicks in. I have been looking at fitting a 4.44 or 4.56 rather than what I had before anyone tried either of these? i know about the pro’s and cons in general with the higher final drives but I think I preferred it for day to day driving before as when just cruising in traffic I tend to sit about 2000rpm and it had quite a bit more pull with being lazy and not changing down
