Hi, I’m just looking for options on if there are any seats lower than stock that can be used with the standard seatbelts as I don’t want to go harnesses ideally. My head is pretty tight and I have just with tried my helmet on and with some adjustments I can just about fit. Just planning ahead and if I keep doing more track days then I’d be keen to get an extra inch or 2 of headroom thanks

This is the seat as far back and as low as it goes and the wheel at max height and reach
-
Just had a sit in, I will have to remove my hand I think to operate the levers. Although I have quite small hands for my size so you might just get away with keeping your hands on the wheel. I’m just about 6’3 with long arms and legs before i could never have my leg straight on the brake or clutch I had my legs bend around the sides of the wheel. now it clears a good inch or 2, pic below shoes my leg just resting on the brake pedal

Just to add I went ahead and ordered the 949 spacer and have just had it fitted. Only drove for 2mins but it gives so much more room for knees and legs. Might take a while to get used to the indicators but think it is worth it plus can always get the little extenders for them. also mine is a 17plate with the steering controls and they only had to extend the horn wire for reference, the controls looms he said was a little snug but it did just fit and all controls work as before

As above per the title original alloys from the facelifted kouki edition. tyres are original primacies, 2 wheels have 6mm of tread and 2 3mm. there is a slight mark on 2 of the wheels can include the standard wheel nuts should be able to post £300

Can do a these for £300 including delivery -
I didn’t get a print out, the garage I usually use its hunter machine was down so took it somewhere else. Just asked for the settings above. Will have a proper go the weekend it definitely feels sharper though. I reckon my chambers gone up about 1.5degrees not 0.5. I would take a guess I was running 0.5-1 before the alignment.
-
Initial impression are it’s got its sharpness back and feels a lot more lively. The back seemed to want to move around a bit more than usual. I reckon I was at about .5-1.0 camber before would the extra degree and half really be this noticeable?

thanks you 2, i have dropped the car into my garage earlier and asked for these settings

Hi, can i ask is it ok to have slightly different tyres front to rear? i would be putting the same size on each axle but i wondered whether it would throw any issues with the abs etc. only reason for asking is i have my first trackday coming up, i currently run 225/40R18 but was going to take 2 of my standard wheels as a spare incase anything went wrong thanks dan
-
Just to follow up on this, the trackday went really well but it was pretty frozen and 0degrees most of the day so tyre wear was non existent. Can’t wait to get a few more Track days in this year. will 225s be enough tyre if boosted?

Have you seen the spacer linked above, this should solve this issue. I’m planning to order one in the next couple of months

hi, just wanted to check that im not being stupid but im thinking of raising my car a little. i had it set up on tein flex a's i think its around 40mm drop, but theres one bump iv realised if im not paying attention the car just catches so was going to lift it 5-10mm. if i remove the wheels and just raise the rings 10mm all round this shouldn't alter geometry too much should it? also regarding the adjustment ratio tein have listed in the manual i can ignore this, as it should all be set correct now so if i raise all 4 coils the same i will have the same stance as now just slightly higher? regards dan
-
Well I had a little play around this morning, I think I got fairly close to what I wanted so happy with that. One thing, I don’t know if it’s all in my head but it feels a bit softer. The teins shouldn’t effect dampening with the height changes or is it because the centre of gravity has been raised it’s not bad it makes it feel more comfortable
-
Yes I mean by the rings, I think the front is 1-1 but the rear ratio is higher so will raise it more. My theory is that as my car has already been lowered they would’ve took this into account and the rings would be at different levels. So if I raise all the rings and equal amount from where they are now my car would keep the same rake as it currently has. But now I am doubting myself example 10mm on the rings raises the front 10mm and the rear 15mm now I think I would be gaining an extra 5mm of rake from where I am now?
-
will it throw it out that much? i think at the moment i am around 40-45mm i know it will reduce the -camber but will it effect toe much if its just 5or10mm?
-
By adjustment ratio I meant as my car should be at the right level as it is. If I adjusted all 4 corners by 10mm on the threads this would raise or lower the rear more than the front but overall my car would have the same front-rear stance as it does now just at a higher height? Or would have to say raise the front 10mm and the rear 8mm for example

Thanks for that I’m certainly interested in one of these. I will wait to after Christmas and get one one in order. Will post my feedback once all done

That steering spacer would be interesting has anyone tried it? Would like the jluth but I think this spacer would be better that would help a bit I think. interesting on the seat rails I will see if I can find some to see how much Toyota charge, had a quick search but I was just getting lots of aftermarket hits

Bump as I can’t help but keep looking at other wheels 😂
