I’m not planning on using the primacys for any track time. I was more thinking if I wore them out or got a puncture would it be ok to put 2 on for the drive home as living in the good old southwest its a 200mile trip back from oulton park
-
I would guess it means fits the factory front pipe. I suppose it’s how your mid pipe fits to the Remus muffler

Forgot I had this in my shed still if anyone is looking to make their TD exhaust quieter or louder
-
I doubt they will unless you do massive mileage. My originals done about 15000 before I changed them and that included plenty of burnouts etc and I would say they were about half worn

Hi, I have been doing some reading as I have my first track day in a few weeks. I just wondered what the limit for the standard 0-20w oil is? I was thinking of 120-130 then letting it cool. Also do we know how accurate the oil temp gauge is on the kouki’s thanks
-
It’s at oulton park next month. i doubt il be pushing it that hard for my first time anyway but I just wanted to double check. Thanks il make sure it gets backed off before 130. Is there a temperature sensor on the newer cars for the oil display or is it more of an electronic guess

Hi, I was looking to tidy up the outside of my car a bit, so was planning on a 3/4 front plate and the American import for the rear. My question is I have just removed the plastic frame and been left with the holes below. Is there any reason not to drill the plate and screw straight to the fixing washers already fitted? Also can the big black piece of plastic running along the top be removed? Just noticed the facelift has a different surround 🤦🏼♂️

Hi, I have just had my car lowered and I think I need to raise the headlights up a little. Before I order an adjustable arm from fensport I just wanted to check if there were any adjusters built into the headlight unit itself? If not can anyone confirm the arm works with the facelift led lights thanks

Pilot sport 4 are probably the best rated toad tyre
-
Yes these make a difference and you shouldn’t exceed 16 from full stiff
-
This and tein advise not to go over the 16 clicks. It’s due to them using the same needle adjuster across the range and other shocks have up to 32 clicks of adjustment but the flex A’s you only have 16

Does the harrop work with the TD manifold or did you have to change it?

Looks very nice that. Think I need to start saving for FI

Look forward to seeing the graphs for this

Hi, just a question on my previous car it was quite common to remove the rear weather seal strip at the back of the engine and the under bonnet insulation. This helped with under bonnet temperatures. I just wondered if anyone had tried this on this car and if it was worthwhile?
-
I get the vents are a much better solution but just had a thought and wanted to see if there was any issues with removing the seal. For instance I have a track day in a few weeks and for the 30seconds it takes to pull off if it helps a little then it’d be worth it. On my old car you could see and feel the heat coming out
-
Just to confirm the arm is exactly the same on the facelifts. Fitted mine from fensport and the aim is much better resting against the wall opposite. The 2bolts were bit of a pig to get at especially in the rain on the drive
-
Thanks when the arm arrives il jack it up and have a look around
-
Thanks I thought that was the case. Is this easy to swap? Are the bolts easily accessible if jacked up on the drive or would it be easier to get it on a ramp

Yet another trip to TD just been completed, this time was a set of flex A’s and rear lca’s. Iv not had a massive chance to push them as the car was completely full on the return trip but after unloading it I had a quick 30min blast on own and I am really impressed. I went 30-35mm lower, planned on 25mm but to get the look I was after we decided to go a bit lower again. No issues with speed bumps or multi story car parks 👍🏻 The car feels much more planted and flat when cornering hard.

Still have this in my shed. £80 delivered

Hi, it looks like I will be ordering my coilovers shortly to lower the car I’m just after people’s opinions on the what the best set around £1000-1500 are. I was planning on the tein flex As. My car is used as a daily mostly but am planning on getting into more track days. I’d choose slightly better comfort over all out performance and would like them be fairly reliable thanks
-
Thanks all that’s my mind made up. I thought that was the case that the flex a’s we’re the best for daily use under a grand so hopefully can get these ordered in the next week or so
-
Thanks for that. I will rule out the mono sports i don’t want anything to harsh
