you'll blow another gearbox at much over 280WHP anyway.... You'd need at least 1000M^3/hr flow rate so the SC would need to run at 19k rpms which is bang on what matt has the dev car running at the moment so perhaps he would be able to help He's keen to see a twin charged setup and I cant think of the better turbo kit than a bottom mount turbo, out the way, with meth injection. Just think of the torque at 2krpms. It'll rip through the gearbox....literally.

I went with green light. Lowest quote was £330 from Flux capacitor but ended up paying £508 with greenlight (£350 excess) for the £45 trackday cover which only has a £700 excess.

They dont sell a pulley, but Matt will happily send you an engineering drawing to get it made up. Its a smaller pulley to net you another 20hp but they make it clear that it hasnt been through their endurance test and according to their simulations, its in their rod bending zone of cylinder pressure; so at your own risk. Should get you to 280WHP on mark hubs. Full fat >350HP is to come...

Same applied to you! #Twin charge

I was using the torque App for android. The same method was showing me mid to high 120s at warmer track days earlier in the summer (before the oil cooler) You must be easy on the car then. I had no problem in a bone stock car getting oil north of 135C in summer months. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Mate I had some pretty bad squeaking on my Ohlins and they're hella expensive [emoji38] They shouldnt squeak. Its usually the rubber bushes in roll bar mounts that squeak. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

i'll take two please -
1) Practice! What is it you are struggling with? I ahve a wide foot so often dont use my heel to blip, rather the right side of my foot while braking 2) take a wheel off and have a look. I'd expect your pads to last at least 4 trackdays

Black Friday......

That's fair enough, would be wasted on someone who already has a licence. Still its a good price and cheaper than I paid despite the fact that the weaker GBP has been pushing up prices for most things.
-
Well blimey! So the kit contains: SC kit ECUtek Licence Tune Air Filter Thermostat Badge I bought my kit a couple years ago when it was £4800 just for the kit and paid a total of £5140 for that lot. @Rich!!

Dont think I need to say much here as everyone knows how good the kit is but i'll just say i've had mine for two years. Done about 6-7k (hard) road miles and 6 trackdays + cat driver training. Great kit with IATs about +15C over ambient so plenty of charge cooling headroom should you want to push the limits of the kit (~350-400hp). @Lucas@PartBox is this the stage 1+2 kit?
-
Why not you can still drive it with one Kidney.

Just a note to say i've spoke to @Lucas@PartBoxand ordered some bits. Great customer service all round, going the extra mile to save us money to spend on more mods

I had RBF600. Changed it after 9 months. Problem with higher temp fuild is they tend to absorb moisture at a faster rate. I now run dot 5.1 and I ran dot 5.1 with race pads on stock brakes too and no issues so I dint see the need to spend the extra money of high temp fluid. The reason I asked Will was because I found the RBF600 gave me a softer feeling pedal within a year.
-
I'm surprised if it recommends every 18-24 months!
-
@will300 you must clean your calipers alot. So clean! Look lovely Do you think you boiled the fluid then if bleeding them helped the spongy pedal? What fluid do you have?

The air con doesn't directly load the alternator as it is belt driven. At idle where voltage regulation is a bit pants, sure if the ac causes revs to move but not at a few k rpms steady state on the motorway.
-
It regulates voltage depending on state of charge of the battery. 13.5 is a bit low. Mine runs at 14.5 until it drops to 13.8-14v when battery is charged. Turn the stereo on a crank it and it goes back up to 14.5v after a little while. I do have an AGM aftermarket battery though. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
