I have one of these too. This is what the knock offs are knocking off. It works effortlessly and when using it to display something like fuel line pressure it updates fast enough to be useful.

Moton Clubsport Remote Reservoir 2 way adjustable suspension
Ade replied to Deacon's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
I'd class Nitron as at a similar level to Moton so wouldn't be a worthwhile swap for me. Hmmmm Ohlins ttx... but theyve already been developed by TMG.... bilstein MDS already developed by TMG.... Penske are developed by Raceseng... JZs Racecomp Engineering... Im stumped..... Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk -

You've hit the nail on the head with something special. The Motons are an amazing quality item and these should be a step further on. I heard Nitron were looking for a development GT86 and offering massive discounts to anyone interested.... Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk -

I will check if I was to go ahead. Certainly with Morris I spoke to a chap and gave him car value and value of insurance and he was happy with it. Think I was quote £450 for 6 trackdays in that case. Did you have to specify the dates for all the days, or can you buy a block and call them off as you use them? Just need to call them to let them know the day before I think. I've just got a quote for £85 with £800 excess on £10k worth of cover for the Bedford August trackday.

Yeah id fit new ones unless they are silly money. My Hels I had to cable tie them each side of the bracket to keep them from moving about and snagging when going full lock. Thankfully I notice this when I installed them, but I could see how they could snag when turning the wheel if they were no secured.

The front toe should make it a little more pointy but also a little unstable in a straight-line / under braking. The rear toe should make it more stable and heat the rear tyres quicker I understand. I like a bit of teo out at the front for turn in feel. As you say makes it a little less stable under braking. Our front struts actually teo out a little under compression so braking and entering a corner. Toe in at the back can reduce oversteer. I think @kevin has alot of teo in at the back iirc from blyton last year. Also helps stright line stability when putting power down. The back end toes in under compression so hard acceleration causes more teo in, probably for stability. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

I've heard many horror stories about braided lines over the years, with varying brands....... you barely (if at all) hear that with OEM rubber lines. HEL and Goodridge more than others, but it's one of the reasons I wouldn't fit any on my car. I'd rather reliability over a little extra feel. If the metal outer part wears and rubs though the rubber inner then you end up with a very sudden failure, it doesn't take much for that to happen either if the kit isn't well designed to account for suspension and wheel movement. I've not been happy with my hel lines. Will probably go back to oem rubber ones at my next fluid change on the front at least. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

No check engine lights? Seems odd. Get it booked into somewhere that knows what they are doing.
-
That would be severe then!! Different between stock and SC'd is quite large. Is yours the Cosworth kit?
-
Belt slip perhaps how severe is the lacking?
-
The SC is slightly smaller but Harrop design their own SC housing so it is very compact. Looking at the two I would say the Cosworth kit is probably heavier. How much water does the harrop need? its about 5litres in mine. Using Dans numbers 56% of 1270kg is 711kg Mine was 723kg over the front.
-
Ah I dont have a spacesaver. Though the audio gear will have added 15kg now.
-
Interesting Mine was 1255kg with SC, Cosworth cat back, ~1/2 tank and Coilovers - still stock wheels at the point. I suppose 15kg could be different fuel levels. The coilovers saved a couple kg I think

I have yet to insure mine for a trackday. All these knocks are making me nervous though Maybe i'll just stick to bedford from now on...

I've not and don't plan on doing so I dont think anyone plans to bin their car on track! 😂 Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Mine had a little leaflet too but i just went out and smoked them until I could see a nice blue transfer layer on the disc. They do glaze and squeal like dieing pigs but you just need to stomp on them a bit to rebed them again (i.e. get the nice transfer layer). Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

The project mu hc800+ can take more heat. The tradeoff is dusting and squeal. For your application a milder pads works so great, but its a fantastic pad for someone like Tashan who smoked a set of yellows in one trackday. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

If only there was an unlike button bad luck chap, but doesn look too bad.
-
So what happened chap, were the aids off? oversteer?
-
Wasn't that on the Clubracers and not the HC800's? No I burned through the hc800 fronts then moved to clubracers for better wear. They are similar compounds so the hc800 is close to being an all out race pad. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
