Sounding like a broken record but, dampers have more effect on ride when are you moving at speed than spring rates. Good dampers can ride incredibly well but still maintain a decent amount of low speed damping where it matters. Hopefully I'll get to sample these at some point as they were on my short list.

I can't seem to see the video Maurice. I haven't had the chance to look at my cam footage yet but I had a couple nice battles with similarly matched cars which I'm looking forward to see. Instructor session was good by boy he talked a lot. Couldn't focus properly for a couple laps as he was talking constantly! Still I recorded all of that so will be able to look back and learn a few things hopefully. Much happier with the car this time round though and particularly enjoyed the battle with an E92 M3.

I was behind you for about two laps and you were up another cars arse. I wasnt going to risk anything with tyres which are not great in the damp after Rich had this gone into the armco!

Not all 75W90 are equal. The millers 75w90 is on the thicker end of the scale.

The sloppy stick was a very real thing on my car when things got hot. It got more noticeable towards the end of the day as things got heat soaked. I could literally feel the gearbox getting tighter as I drove home. Could be the rubber bush to all fairness as it's a lot better since I changed the gear oil and added whiteline bush.

Stock would have had a W80 I believe, so a bit thinner when hot. FWIW I changed my gearoil oil to millers crx 75W90. The stock box would get sloppy at trackdays due to the heat. The millers stuff goes some way to help with that. Admittedly I added the whiteline positive shifter insert too so it could be that. One things for sure, the whiteline and Millers combo makes the cold shift worse, so a word of warning there.

Depends how you view it and in what conditions. According to AP racing the J hooks give improved bite an debris clearance over normal straight or curved vanes and reduces distortion/vibration. They do increase noise though.

haha definitively agree with that. That is true that wider gives more grip (to a point) but the extra drag increases lap times at many circuits on an N/A car. All the info and comparisons are on the ft68club. People running 350+WHP benefit from 255-265s though as they can get more power down. Personally, I think Jordan should consider a lighter wheel and some 245s but with some substantial front and rear downforce.

I can only speak for my AP racing disc which have curved slots. Under hard braking they make a whirring noise but no judder. Under normal driving they are fine.

Mark at Abbey motorsport did it for him few years ago. I'm tempted as it doesn't appear to add too much noise.

That's a very good price. The better cooling will probably increase pad life.

FYI The mtec discs are straight vaned if you didnt know that already.

I typically go through a tank in morning and a tank in afternoon.

swap them over and the code will bugger off for another 10k..... the mystical coil pack issue that know-one can tell WTF is wrong with the coilpacks throwing the codes.

Curved cooling vanes significantly improve cooling over straight vanes in the standard discs. The stoptech disc are one such example that are reasonably priced.
