This ^^ the stage 2 supercharger kit now comes with the thermostat and air filter so all you would need is a licence to run the calibration. If you don't plan to supercharge the stage 1.1 works well with almost any cat back so would work with the Miltek. The air filters are slightly different and our MAFs are quite sensitiive being close to the air filter, so best to use a cosworth one.

Spring rate affects balance but running lots of camber up front (I run -2.7) also adds grip which makes it more neutral. I mean stock gt86 was pretty bad but I find the ohlins with lots of camber more balanced. It'll certainly understeer if you push too hard and don't use the brakes to keep weight over the front.

I actually felt like mine understeered less than Lauren's but to be sure I've have to drive it.. I've got -2.7 up front so that might be the reason.

Whats your front camber? 6kg front and back right?

It depends on the rest of the suspension though. A 16mm bar worked nicely on the back of a stock gt86, but when you start adding stiffer bushes and different coilovers with very different wheel frequencies, it becomes a bit of trial and error. General rules. If car understeers; add more rear roll stiffness, if car oversteers; add more front roll stiffness. Adding camber can affect balance but it should be set to give the best grip and tyre temperature across the tread then evaluate the balance of the car and adjust roll stiffness as necessary.

Im running 235/40 stretched on a 9J rim. 3% faster so the speedo will be spot on. AD08R are wide for a 235 though. Will go for 245/35 if I decide to go for CUP 2s

Cheers bud. Will pick one up from clean your car.

Can you measure it please?

So my mate offering to lend his das 6 pro has let me down. Time to get my own da. Currently the das 6 is £60 is the das 6 pro worth almost double the money? Considering I'm not grinding away on an old knackered car, rather just removing light swirls I would think the das 6 will suffice?

Looks like it could be japspeed. Is it thicker than the stock radiator?

Who made this part?

Hayward and Scott - car goes in mid November. If you like I can talk to Ian about doing both cars? might be discounted. PM me if interested. Cheers

What I would do @Willtl is try the resonated pipe. If that still too loud then get an exhaust fab to weld i na bigger silencer. Might cost £150 to do that though. Also have you tried blocking the sound generator?

Weld failures more likely!

Not entirely true. lower offset put more strain on the wheel bearings due to extending the lever arm. It also adds positive scrub which does give brake steer on uneven surfaces which can be dangerous in the wrong hands. I know it from first hand experience, on some surfaces when hammering the brake you need to hold the wheel otherwise before you know it you can be in the ditch at the side of the road. My grippy tyres probably make it worse to be fair. To do it properly would need a suspension redesign to extend the current wheel/knuckle further out. Having said that, why didnt they do that in the first place?

If you can wait a few months, I'm getting a custom cat back made. 70mm piping and 3 massive silencers with halmholtz resonators. It should be very very quiet on an N/A car. Will post something when its completed.

I've messaged the seller. Might see if I can get a discount on a meduim compound because they messed up the order.

Well I ordered Final Finish 3000 and got Super Finish 3800. I assume its a finer cut but still better the SRP I imagine
-
now that is nice! Is there going to be a TRD spec model with the proper brembo brakes and light wheels?
-
Just ordered some some Menzerna final finish 3000 cheers @rob275 I've got a spare Meguiars soft polishing pad. Should this be okay? its this one: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/machine-polishing-pads/meguiars-buffing-pads/meguiar/prod_1483.html or would I be better off using a different pad? Cheers guys

They are fairly light swirls. I've always used the two bucket method and a noodle mit but 3 years of washing has added a lot and in direct sunlight its pretty bad up close. I've got a meguiers soft polishing pad for the DA. I'll try the final finish 3000 as I would rather start fine and go up. Cheers

I'm after some advice chaps. I polished my car with a DA a few months back using SRP. It was pretty good at the time but the swirls are back; presumably because the fillers from the srp have gone. At the time I put a coat of extra gloss protection and it seemed pretty good. Looking to do a bit of winter prep. SPR is perhaps not abrasive enough so what do people use to remove swirls? I'll follow it with a coat or two of Extra Gloss Protection and then some wax on top. Any advice/suggestions welcome
