I think the problem is that its their development car too and currently its not in stage 2 form. -
GT86/BRZ/FR-S Manifold/Headers From Tuning Developments
Ade replied to Mike@TD.co.uk's topic in Tuning Developments
How much did the above car make in stock form with a tune? Really nice torque curve there. -
So how much gained with the TD manifold. Edit Never mind. Ive asked the question on the TD thread.

I think you are talking about ATL BRZ?. His were first gen but I did see that. hhmmmmm

Thanks for that. I want at least 2degree camber. Currently have 2 degress one side and 1.5 degree the other. The Eibach/SPC arms seem to be a good cheap lower arm option but RCE seem to think the upper bushes are worth doing anyway.
-
Looks lovely. Need to sort out some nice bit for the interior of mine. Also quick question, how much did it cost you to have the upper arm camber bushes installed?

They're 18's @Ade Sorry I meant what width. 7.5? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

I do like the design of those alloys. What size are they? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

Woo woo :-) when will you be placing the order? -
Finally got the brakes sort the evening before Snettereton Spend the morning bedding in the front pads onto the used AP Racing Discs. Very happy with the feel now they are bedded in nicely and no signs of fade all day from the Streetmaster pads.

Snetterton Trackday 27/04/16 Had a cracking day at Snetterton on wednesday with Dan, Rich, Paul and Sheldon. Also good to see Jay, Dan (steeps) and Mike pop over. Weather was good in the morning session starting out quite cold but dry. I was quite tentative most of the day on the brakes because I fitted them the night before and they were still bedding in most of the morning sessions. I hadn't considered just how much time old discs and new pad need to properly bed in. We got a bit of rain around 3pm which made things interesting if not a bit hairy, but it was good to practice consistent driving with the lower grip threshold. Some car data. Very happy with temps, though its clear the added heat from the oil to water cooler is pushing up my water temps a little bit, especially in area where there is alot of WOT at lower speeds (less airflow throguh the bumper) Dry session. You can see the bumps in the coolant temp curve where you have slower sections directly following the longish straights. This was on a wet/damp track so I built up the pace and hence this stead rise in temps as the session went on. Some pics Two garages 5 cars? Easy Only track pic I have is one pilfered from the Javelin website: Also forgot to add anything about the transmission. It felt good all day. The shift did get a little loser than when normal road driving, but it remained much firmer than previously. I don't know if it was the gear oil or the insert or a combination of both but I am very happy to see the back of the sloppy shiftier. Bring on the next trackday in a month or so

Any idea of when you'll get your car back?
-
A correction to above. At Snetterton my exhaust was measured at 92dB which is what Cosworth said it should be which the sc fitted.

Pictures are up on the Javelin website http://www.javelintrackdays.co.uk/trackday/index.php?option=com_joomgallery&Itemid=13

Mine stays at a solid 90 on a track day according to the scan gauge. I had considered a vented bonnet too. Just havent seen one I like yet. velox motorsport hood vents are top of my list. They did proper airflow analysis and testing.

I have the stock rad but Cosworth low temp thermostat. The cossy tsat starts to open at 76C and fully open by 90C, so you can see by my data that the Tstat is never fully open (on the whole). Stock Tstat starts opening at 90C and fully open by 95C. Generally my car used to run 93-95C on trackdays without the SC installed. I am considering bonnet vents to help bring coolant temps down a bit.

I have an oil to water laminova. It doesn't drop much pressure at all compared to a conventional radiator as the oil flow is kept Laminar. Details on my build thread if you are interested.

The top oil gallery is the best place is it is just before the oil going in tot he crank journals. Unfortunately I had to move it when I install the Cossy as there isn't room. The oil gallery next to he AC reads about 1bar lower than at the oil filter. If you have an oil cooler, it'll read about another 0.5bar lower as there is pressure drop through the oil radiator and hoses.

You can pick up the Oil temp reading using a Bluetooth ODB and torque app. You just need to add a custom PID in torque. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23530 The oil temp sensor is located just below the oil filter. There is an oil pressure switch and an oil pressure sensor there. In terms of oil path, its right after the oil pump which picks up directly from the sump so oil temps wont be much different there vs the sump as the oil hasn't passed though the engine yet. Im using Millers CFS 0W30 Oil pressures are about 7bar @7krpms when running at 110C oil temps. Pressure sensor location is just after the oil filter in terms of oil path.

That's oil temp taken from the standard engine oil temperature sensor. Same as Dans data from above. The eaton units (harrop is an eaton unit too) have a self contained oil which need changing every 100k miles.

That is Engine oil temperature. 110C is pretty good for engine oil temp.

Here's the 4-4:20pm Session. Ambient Temp was ~10C Conditions were damp so I started out easy and built up. and here's an earlier session before it rained. Ambient was a little warmer ~12C This one was dry and I was driving a little more consistently. You can see the coolant temp spike going down Bentley straight every couple minutes. Edit - improved formatting and added 15 sec moving average filters overlay.

I only logged IAT, ambient, oil and water. I was shifting at 7500rpms. Will get some up soon. We didn't do any VBOX logging in the end
