I dont go on any of these forums much these days. I was thinking the the bigger SC with a larger pulley might help with charge temps too. Fair enough. Looking forward to see the dyno when its finished.

Nice install! I bet it sounds amazing. Though I too am a bit worried about the extra wieght after Stu on the other forum had his car weighted. It was just over 100Kg heavier I think. He does have a few weight saving parts, but also the sprintex kit. ICE is where all the weight is. Now I can tell when I have a passenger in the car and to me the car is more nimble. I dotn want to lose that. Infact I have started to wonder what I can strip out fo improve that nimble feeling. I dont use my car to commute thoguh so its a differnet story....

ah right okay. Surprised that thermostat opens at 80C. I would have thought it would only begin to work as the oil temp goes above normal working temp of the stock car. Im no expert though.

I spoke to Maz on the other forum and he said I could pop over one evening. I live about 10 miles from HKS-europe! Hada botu 40min in the car I love hte centrifugal setup. I will be gonig FI, I just dont know when, or what FI I will be using. Probably not this year that for sure.

Why would the cooler drop temps to 99C to 81C if it has the thermostat? I dont think it should do anything until the oil gets hotter, or am I missing something?

The stock engine has a flat torque curve, so it doesnt quite feel liek its a bigger version of the same engine. I would liken the torque delivery of the Centrifugal to the old Celica VVTL 1.8 - just imagine its a 3L To be honest the litchfield SC has a strighter torque curve, which I would prefer, but I wonder if a little development work wont improve things. Because the (sort of) crossover is in the middle of the revs, I found I either poodled along nicely or revved it hard

Can you not put a valve on the oil lines so the Oil cooler doesnt function until the oil gets up to at least 110C - you really want the oil to be above the boiling point of water.
