I have for sale a Hayward and Scott GT86/BRZ EL 4-2-1 manifold. I bought it off Teg a couple months back and took it to H&S and got it welded where it had cracked and strengthened. Also had the cat removed as it had become unglued and we weren't sure if it would still be any good. It also has 6X 1/8" BSP ports for fitting thermocouples, but they come with a bung fitted. It has a Cam Coat thermal coating and I have given it a coat of VHT ceramic paint to make it look a bit nicer. Item location: Nr Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire Asking £450 + postage, collection welcome. ono Any questions or offer please PM me. Thanks for looking

Clearance Whiteline Bushes - Rear trailing arm - lower front bush
Ade replied to Lucas's topic in Part-Box
I personally would never recommend to anyone to change all the bushes at once! The detriment to the ride will be undesirable to many so its best tor try a few and see how you like it. Id start with subframe inserts and go from there but doing them all at once apart from being silly expensive, doesnt let you see the effect each modification makes. Indeed everyone is different. I enjoy passenger rides but at the same time want to get out on track. I just fancy trying a really grippy tyre as ive never tried them before and your DG03s were mighty impressive. It did make me chuckle that I was struggling not to sit on your lap on left handers 😂 Regarding oil most people are spinning bearings when they combine slicks and aero. Slicks alone seem to be okay as was evident by the tmg race car running 245 pirelli racing slick and not needing any oil mods. Once they added aero in 2016 they were getting oil surge and added a baffle plate. Just a bit of bent metal but seems to work. The Cosworth item for £150 is much more sophisticated with the rubber trap doors and this style is used in many race engines that dont require a dry sump setup. Having said all that a good baffle plate gives you a bit more headroom but id alway recommend a pressure guage before changing any of the oil system. If I didnt have mine id have blown my engine after fitting the moroso junk.

Someones just recommended ZESTINO GREDGE 07RS to me as a cheap semi slick. Anyone tried these?

Thanks @will300 Lauren no offense but I had more fun as a passenger in Kevins car on DZ03s than yours on V105s. I also had a lot of fun with Jolyon Palmer in the GT86 CS-V3 racecar. 4 wheel drifting a car on slicks is a lot of FUN. I like grip I agree if someone rolls up in a stock corsa (excuse the pun) on a fresh set of Pirelli soft slicks its a bad idea but a set of heat cycled, 50% used BTCC slicks on a well setup GT86 is a different matter IMO. Probably less grip than the DZ03s but alot cheaper too. I have yet to hear about a rolled FRS in the USA where tons of people use slicks and document it on the forums. Friend of mine checked with a couple TDO friends of his. They are fine with slicks and no cage as well.
-
I didnt know that! Im sure ive seen cilos running slicks without a cage. I'll settle for DZ03s if I have too but im definitely not fitting a cage.

Well mines been off before to fit the moroso junk baffle. Dave at fensport did it then but I dont recall it being a problem. They used wurth rtv which id have thought is similar to stock. This time it was easy anyway with the use of a flat head screw driver and a sharpie. The sump has a bent over lip so it is very strong around the edges.

I mean to add, ive been running this a coupe of weeks now and so far oil pressure is good. Real test will be with some used BTCC slicks and a trackday.....

Cosworth Sump Plate/Baffle I picked up a Cosworth sump plate baffle in part box bank holiday discounts. Its very nice piece with baffle plates that stick up into the engine to help reduce breather oil pickup. It has a total of 10 trap doors to ensure oil can return quickly to the sump but being very soft and flexible they close fast and seal nicely to stop oil pouring away from the pickup on long high G corners. The plan eventually to run slick tyres. Here some picture of the install:

Triggers Broom Time for new pads and discs. Discs are original AP racing 355x32mm and Pads I opted to try PFC Z rated after a few people had good results with them. The Cosworth streetmaster pads had seen better days but lasted okay. ~6 trackdays and probably enough for one more, which considering I was destroying a set of pads on 1 or 2 trackdays on stock brakes, I am happy with that. The grooves in the disc face were almost worn down. Ive very happy with the results. Pedal is super firm and bite is very good from cold. The real test, however, will be the next trackday.

Up to the top. Part costs ~ ~£800 new without a ceramic coating ( another ~£350)

If you can get KW V3s at cost price its a no brainer.

Here's an un-resonated H&S cat back with a JDL UEL manifold. Its epic.

Here my custom cat back (Click)

Sounds utterly epic IMO - this is just the cat back

Bump Showed an 8g/s (~10hp) increase in peak air flow on my supercharged car without tuning. Ignition correction trace was clean zeros, so clearly some timing can be adjusted to get additional power.

TBH id not recommend it. Loved the sound of mine (bit loud for me as im an old man) but QC is not the best at nameless. Nod goes to H&S from me and comes with a lifetime warrenty.

and they only have a few left in stock

I know what Lucas has done. I asked about one of these a couple days ago..... so he done this to temp me in. Its a conspiracy to get me divorced.

I can see how this might not have been the best time to post a for sale thread [emoji23] Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
