Cool look forward to seeing you there.

Approx 8:38am, but can't make promises.
-
Yeah sure no worries Vad. Look forward to hearing about your latest track days.

Yes an armrest is a very worthwhile addition to the interior and its so easy to fit. Michelin primacies for fun slips and yokos for fun grips when it comes to tyres too.
-
Nice looking red paint. Is the side stripes standard fit? I've never seen the GT86 logo in white before. I bought mine from Gatwick motor line over a year ago, very good dealership. Hopefully if they are changing the pads and discs you won't get the characteristic brake squeal that tends to come from the factory.

Will you make it to japfest at Silverstone in May?

Good morning fellow 86 owners, I trust your all enjoying the picturesque wintery England at the moment. I'm loving the slippery surfaces to enjoy the handling of this amazing chassis. So I thought I'd share a picture I took when I got to work this morning. In case your wondering those are my new 11's left on the tarmac ahead 😊

Is there a Toyota version of vag com or op com so that you don't have to visit the dealer to program tyre pressure sensors or new keys to the car?
-
I should be able to make the Super car sunday meet. Be nice to see you all there.
-
I'll probably go along to this one, would be nice to meet some of you there.

Wheels are important! Come on I need the first fire up video followed by some dyno ripping torque videos!!!

Is there a bin in the workshop that gets a kicking everytime something goes wrong. Because I think I'd well and truly lost my rag by now lol.

I look forward to the autobiography and feature film produced on all the horrors that have come with this build before its even turned a wheel. I feel for you.
-
That sounds like car hell. Why the long drive to get parts, are you working to a hard deadline?
-
That's the size I'm after. @will300 has the same wheel size with tein flex a set at a good height and it looks really good up close. I doubt your wife will notice if she thinks its already a bumpy car. Jr racing and konig have quite a few in 17x8.

What wheel and tyre combo are you going for?
-
I see that makes more sense if your going to switch to a rarer wheel choice later. Great that the rears are straight from subarus part box.
-
They are nice wheels and look similar to the brz sti wheels. How have you changed the hub pcd, is it re drilled oem hubs, modified subaru wrx sti hubs? Also why would you go through all that effort to fit a wheel that comes in 5x100? What spec were those zf1's you got from tarmac sports?

Sorry to bomb the thread but there is a question about suspension that I can't find an official answer to: Why do coilovers use a smaller diameter spring to OEM? Is it purely to save weight? If so why don't OEM use them in the first place.

Sounds like a hornet being chased by a pack of mustangs. Awesome sound.

The block does sit real nice in the bay. I couldn't wait anymore so I watched lexus ls400 straightpipe videos. A very jap sounding v8, should be right at home in your car. Will the supercharger whine?
-
Cheers for posting this one up Keith I'll see if I can make it along. I'm not on the other forum much anymore because for some reason it won't display well on my phone.

Here she is, had her for exactly one week now and what a ride.....

Great choice @SimonG68 liking the colour. Is this your first sports car or had you owned a few now? How are you finding the 86 in the cold damp climate so far? -
Review- GT86 Club Series Blue Edition with Performance Pack
Luke replied to Lauren's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
Must be nice to drive all the different iterations of the 86 that come around. The wheels look better than the stock ones but I'd still swap them for something better looking with a wider offset. The performance pack should of been offered on all models at that add on price. I wasn't offered the JBL package on my2017 when I bought last year. Still think this car is better when people turn to the aftermarket and pick and choose what they want from the car. I paid 24.5k for mine so with a 6k saving I can buy mods that are to my own personal taste and still come out cheaper.- 12 replies

Shame you can't add a viewing window through the back seat. It looks the part so should work very well.
