I have so far driven 125k in my 2013 remapped Automatic and had no major issues touch wood [emoji14]

You can also get Front Parking Sensors fitted which are a godsend in a Multi-Storey Car Park or tight parking area [emoji14] Like Lauren I use my Mirrors to park, but use the Camera towards the final moment of reversing into a space especially if it's a vehicle or wall behind me...can park with an inch to spare then....lol

Test driving a GT86 on Tuesday - Looking for some advice
Test Drives Unlimited replied to Portalfl0w's topic in Newbies
Welcome to the Drivers Club.... The key is in the name of this particular club as we all love driving our GT86's to the limit, but got to also remember some people just buy the car for the looks and then drive it from A to B everyday, which of course would explain why the car you are looking at has them basic tyres on the car. They are probably a perfectly good tyre for A to B driving.... I am now on my 8th set of tyres and have just had the New Kumho PS71's fitted to my GT86, which are a direct replacement to the old KU39's. So far am very happy with them and they do perform in the same manner as the KU39's did, which for me is fantastic. What ever you decide, one thing we can all agree on you will enjoy the ownership of the car. For me this is the longest have ever kept the same car and let alone how many miles I have done in the car from New! 6.5yrs and over 125k [emoji14] -
Wanted - Gauges and/or Gauge Pods
Test Drives Unlimited replied to Leeky's topic in Wanted GT86 / BRZ Cars and Parts
In my GT86 is a Block8 3 Pod unit for 60mm Gauges plus also have the Blitzs 60mm 3 Gauge Pod unit on the passenger side. See photos below.... -
Here's the 8th set of Tyres waiting to be fitted to the GT86 in time for the first trackday of the year on Saturday 29th February at Three Sisters [emoji14] I gone for Kumho PS71's which are a direct replacement to the KU39's.... 4 tyres including delivery were £280.00 from MOT Motorsport Ltd [emoji14] Will still have 2 spare KU39 Tyres though, as there is a Full Size Spare Wheel in the Boot and have one Spare Tyre kept at home The idea is if ever get a puncture, then one of the New Tyres would end up in the Boot as the Spare !!

My Custom Leather Seats heat up with no issues, including while am defrosting the car [emoji14] Also the Passenger Seat heats up without someone sitting there, which is useful if you want to keep your Fish and Chips hot....lol -

There is some stuff you can buy on eBay which you can put on all the rubber around the window frame which will stop the glass sticking to the rubber, but just need to remember to use it when Frost is expected! -

I was told that Abbey Sport are doing some of the rebuilds for Modified cars in the South East Keith on behalf of Toyota. Maybe an idea to contact Mark and see what he says... -

Got my GT86 back yesterday from Gatwick Toyota and all done including replacing the Water Pump etc...and sealing a few Oil Leaks. Parts cost £197.11 , the replacement Spark Plugs were already included in the Service Contract when GT86 had the 120k Service on 17th October 2019.... They also cleaned the car as it hadn't been washed since the Service in October. -

121,000 miles and on the 7th set of tyres! 1st set = Primacy factory 2nd set = Michelin PS3 3rd set = Kumho KU39 4th set = Kumho KU39 5th set = Kumho KU39 6th set = Yokohama AD08R 7th set = Kumho KU39 Will be ordering the 8th set of tyres in January 2020 after my last trackday of the year on 30th December. I change my tyres about once a year, except last year I got through 2 sets of tyres, but did cover 17 trackdays plus the usual road use etc.... This year by the time I do Mallory Park at the end of the year, I will have only driven 8 trackdays plus the usual road use.... Love the Kumho KU39 tyre and highly recommend them [emoji14]
