Edelbrock SC kit Fa20 powered by Eaton 1320 TVS
Mark@Abbey M/S replied to Mark@Abbey M/S's topic in Abbey Motorsports
You can buy a Stage 2SC Cosworth kit seperately; NO Ecutek cable or tune and cost is £4794-00 inc vat So like for like the Edelbrock is cheaper. We do have another SC kit on its way as well....also running the TVS 1320 SC unit. -
Edelbrock SC kit Fa20 powered by Eaton 1320 TVS
Mark@Abbey M/S replied to Mark@Abbey M/S's topic in Abbey Motorsports
You cant really compare pricing between the Edelbrock and the Cosworth , as the Cosworth is only available when you buy the complete Cosworth kit Stage 1.11 etc etc. Just had a shipping price this will add £210-00 to the totally cost. -
We have both the Ace and Tomei EL manifold to try out when I get sometime free on our dyno. Thanks

ACE Header for RHD cars in @ Abbey Motorsport
Mark@Abbey M/S replied to Mark@Abbey M/S's topic in Abbey Motorsports
This is a 350 collector modified to fit on our RHD cars. On the Dyno 1st week in August. -
Adrian, that looks an awesome install. Did they make a bell housing or are you using an Auto Bell housing modified? Input shaft made to run the stock clutch/flywheel I presume as well?
-
Stock car; centre of wheel to wheel arch Frt 365mm Rr 385mm I think your car is a little to low from these measurement

The Samsonas is stronger but also heavier and larger; I will have a Quaife in my 350Z track car very soon........

Lee, I deal with KW regards rebuilding your dampers; Re Set up; I haven't watched the video's, but my thoughts; Bigger roll bars although the limit the roll they also limit the grip due to not letting the weight roll on to the outside tyre/s I think the 18mm rear bar is to big for these cars , will lift rear wheel's and make the car very nervous on the limit; 16mm is the biggest I feel to run on these cars. I fit a 16mm rear bar kit and keep the stock front bar on all our set ups , use the rear bar to trim the understeer/rear grip. Spring rates-the 8 kg/10kg is the hardest I would go for even these springs will make the car uncomfortable on the road. The issue on the front suspension rubbing; how much have you lowered the car from stock? are you running any rack in the car? (difference between frt and rear ride heights) again we set the car sup with around 10 to 15mm rack, I would look at packing the bump stops to stop any rubbing issues. Any questions thoughts fire away.

We use one in Steve Baggsys S13 drift car powered by 500+ Bhp. Works very well shifts lovely as well. Real nice gearbox We used a Samsonas gearbox last year thou in the S13 which worked real well. Both awesome gearboxes but as you say the Quaife is available with helical gears as well.

The 69G Quaife Sequential fits without any tunnel work.

EcuTek is not in the same league as a Motec Tim. But for what we are doing it does a fine job. Cut down on what your logging helps on logging response. Real pain is no live logging. Racerom feature works well thou. Think there maybe a M1 on my desk sometime soon for our GT86.

Nigel , sorry to crash Deacons thread , the rear roll bar mounts stiffeners are needed the stock rear bar doesn't stress the stock mounts but once you uprate they are needed Deacon, what ride heights did you go with , we are finding these cars have very little rear travel even in stock form and running the car to low reduces the travel , you ca gain some travel back with playing with suspension unit length but this can reduce the rear droop that can cause rear wheel to be lifted. Car does look good thou.

HKS catless Headers, Cobra Overpipe , 2nd Cat delete pipe , Resonated Exhaust System and EcuTek quick tune. Other dyno plot is a stock car on our dyno at the Dyno Day we ran sometime ago. Small amount of dyno work think there is more to be found in the tune but torque dip has been removed , torque throughout the rev range up. Start of the development program for the NA boys. Add 40bhp to get an estimate flywheel figure.

Super Pro Rear Lower Arm Camber Bushes
Mark@Abbey M/S replied to STEVO9000's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
Sorry but do these fit on a GT86/BRZ rear lower arm as the bush is listed for a Impreza WRX not a GT86/BRZ. That number isnt listed on the Super Pro website to fit a GT86/BRZ either. Strange
