    TEIN Flex with EDFC Active-Pro

I think the springs are too stiff on Keith's/Dave's personally. Even a stock car feels stiff on the handling circuit @ Millbrook. These are light cars and with good damping control the car will run soft springs with good control. Thanks

    TEIN Flex with EDFC Active-Pro

Dave I hope won't mind me giving my feedback. Daves car was not riding the bumps well at all locking front wheels under breaking, bobbling over the bumps I feel this is due to springs maybe too hard and too much rebound damping. The rear of the car I feel is to low not enough rake in the set up and again it looks from watching the car is overly stiff on both spring rate and too much rebound damping which causes the suspension to jack down. I feel you need to turn of the speed/G loading compensation and get a good set up before playing with the other settings. A stock car handles so well on the handling circuit @ Millbrook even with added power/torque.

    GT86/BRZ baffles sumps

Just had these arrive in the UK; £315-00 inc vat looks good quality, should help with controlling the oil surge on fast road/track.

    Abbey Motorpsort and Tony Gillam

On the 8th of August we nearly lost the founder of this great family business, Tony had a fairly slow speed off from his motorbike but unfortunately the injuries he received during the accident have meant he is still under hospital care. His true strength and pure grit have brought him back from life threatening injuries. Abbey Motorsport would sincerely like to thank all their valued customers who have stood by us during this difficult time and kept Tony in their thoughts. We are so very grateful to all the Abbey boys, they have truly pulled together allowing Mark & Sarah valuable time out to spend with their Dad and be there to support him as much as possible. Abbey Motorsport have a truly great team, thank you all.Thankfully Tony is improving every day and we are all looking forward to the day he can rejoin us at the workshop, which, he can not wait to do!Abbey Motorsport is still open for business as usual.

    Abbey Motorpsort and Tony Gillam

Sorry to fetch up an old thread folks but a few days short of 8 mths from the date Of my bike accident I thought it was maybe time to tell fellow Skyline enthusiasts where I am in my recovery particularly as I have heard rumours of my permanent retirement! I suffered a fractured skull, fractured neck as well as several contusions/bleeds to my brain in a relatively low speed accident. I was lucky in that my son was following me and with the help of a passing fireman saved me from choking on my vommit and swallowing my tongue.... When the air ambulance arrived I was quickly diagnosed as having Traumatic Brain Injury and luckily for me was placed in an induced coma very quickly. This coupled with not having to have any intrusive surgery has unboutable allowed a remarkable recovery! So at this stage of my recovery I am back at work mostly assembling engines and general duties and have been allowed to drive again and therefore to sample the thrill of these wonderful cars which I have been sampling for 24yrs! I still like to talk to fellow petrol heads and some of the best therapy I have had is just that! So please drop in for a cuppa and a chat...I will be so pleased to. see you! Tony Gillam

For those with Cobra non-resonated systems

    Had a chat with Matt @ Cobra. We are willing to offer the resonated centre section for 20% off of the retail price which is £195-00 inc vat so making a final cost of £156-00 inc vat no minimum numbers. We will even fit the system free of charge if needed or ship the resonated centre section to you free of charge. Any questions ask away. Hope this helps you guys out;

    Miltek front pipe!

The Cobra 2nd Cat delete pipe didn't fit the Auto cars on the 1st ones made (Cobra have since modified the 2nd cat delete pipe to fit manual and Auto's) , We use a HKS 2nd Cat delete pipe on Auto cars. From what you have said I feel the Milltek maybe the same, the Auto box is far wider than a Manual box.

Cobra cat back non res db readings

Deacon, what's the make and model of the noise meter?
  24. Mark@Abbey M/S

For those with Cobra non-resonated systems

They are like chalk and cheese I will say. Miltek systems are less aggressive we have found or more mature another way to describe them.
  25. Mark@Abbey M/S

Cobra cat back non res db readings

Drive by noise levels differ at different tracks.
