FA20 Club equal length manifold
Mark@Abbey M/S replied to Mark@Abbey M/S's topic in Abbey Motorsports
Equal length headers, Cobra over pipe, Japspeed Sports cat , Resonated Cat back Cobra system , Blitz panel filter and Abbey ECUTEK remap; +25 bhp at the hub gain at the top end. +20lb/ft gain from the GT86 Torque hole. Drives so smooth now. torque dip gone , dyno plot is against a stock car from the dyno day. Will have some prices on the headers very soon. I have also spent some more time on the starting noise issues , we can now totally remove the cat warming calibration. Car starts and idles lovely. Yes we have fitted a Sports cat in the 2nd cat postion But as Steve says we can supply the header with a CAT as well. Prices to follow soon; -
Yes we have seen this , we have been in contact with Cosworth as well;

The gauges can either read boost from stock map sensor if the car has been configured to run a 3 bar map sensor. They can also be supplied with a seperate boost sensor as well. 1st 6 supplied gauges all had the seperate map sensors supplied FOC Any questions ask away guys. Oil pressure sensor nearly sorted as well. Mark -

Hope to have the gauges later on this week but this will hamper us getting the extra oil pressure sensor items in and pre-fitted to our car.Will try to get it sorted but it my not a def go for Saturday , you can have the gauge fitted and come back for the oil pressure set up to be fitted thou. -
We have backed to back a Turbo car and a Sprintex car on a Dynapack...not in the UK thou. results are interesting TBH.We do a lot of work on the throttle response on our cars we tame the cars a lot at lower throttle openings I feel you may of noticed this together with the by pass valve working;We make boost from 1200rpm so we have to tame the cars, no problem not to add this to the tune but it makes the car a hand full.
-
Don't understand the "lag" when you get back on the throttle TBH, we do remap the throttle map to soften the response due to the instant boost a twin screw SC makes but they isn't any lag , tbh I think it might be you being a little nervous with the throttle pedal with the response the Sprintex has.Good luck witht he Turbo thou you have some good fun with F/I.

We @ Abbey feel running only a sports 2nd cat may not pass the MOT easily, I know Keith has tried this but I feel want to double check before we say yes. This is on our list to do. Thanks
-
Hi it isn't fuel enrichment that causes the noise it is ignition retard in the stock calibration. We can remove this when flash the car with an EcuTek license. We can also tune the can via e tune if you buy a EcuTek programming kit. Any questions ask away

yep can be sorted NP. will require a T piece and a fly lead to put the oil pressure sender up out of the way and allow the extra wire to be run from inside the car into the engine bay.Gauge's shipped today took a chance on getting 5 orders.Will be extra cost for the extra senders , will get these sorted once I am back in the office next week; -
