  1. Hi guys recently sold my 86 have some parts for sale, as I live in Northern Ireland postage charges will be added to prices. Sequential valenti tail lights, red/clear bought at the beginning on last year and are in very good condition price is 200 plus postage Next is a matching valenti 4th brake light bought at the same time as the tail lights, all clips are there and none are broken. Price for that is 140 plus postage. Open to offers and willing to sell together. Thanks Jamie
  2. As far as I'm aware, the usb contains the software to allow you to log your data save it and send it away to fensport for mapping, you still have to pay for a license and a remap. It also allows you to upload the map. I've never used so I don't know to much about it. And no it doesn't need registration to a new owner

    Malian exhaust, worth the gamble?

I have no doubt it will be too
  4. For a while now I've been working on changing my exhaust and i started from the manifold back, first of I bought borla UEL manifold of a forum member. I wanted the rumble from the boxer engine simply love the noise. Around the same I bought a miltek over pipe and cobra resonated secondary decat pipe also from a forum member, as they came up at a good price. I had them installed over a month ago and simply love the noise, once warm the car has subtle rumble and isn't loud (only on cold starts where it sounds like a wasp nest) This left me with the stock cat back, I had looked through the forums for second hand systems and seen a few that I liked and enquired but was to indecisive and missed. Now on to the Malian! It always caught my eye, yes the £330 price tag is very appealing for a brand new catback and I understand the buy cheap buy twice etc. But after seeing a forum member saying they would pay more for the same exhaust it's that good, i thought to myself could this be as good as the more well known brands? Any way I took the plunge and ordered mine it arrived today viva dpd and plan to fit it on Saturday morning/afternoon all being well! I will upload a pictures/video of the before and after for people who are interested. I'll also do a wee write-up after a couple weeks or so and I'll see if I can stick the noise levels
  5. I'm looking a catback exhaust anything considered, must be willing to post as I live in Northern Ireland. Thanks Jamie

    Tuning options

So recently I've been looking at the manifold and remap route and went ahead and purchased a Borla UEL. Now I'm looking at the remap side of things, I'm well aware of tuners such as tuning developments, abbey motorsport and fensport, I'd be happy to use any of these as they're reputation is excellent however my problem is I live in Northern Ireland, not sure if there is any tuners over here which work with the gt86/brz. Does anyone know of any in Northern Ireland that are reputable? I may be able to get a lend of an ECUtek programming kit from a friend would I be able to get a tuner to send over a map? Or how would that work? My last resort is getting a boat over and getting the remap as it's an expensive trip 😂 Any advice? Thanks in advance Jamie
  7. Bought these springs brand new from Tarmac Sportz back in November and have never got round to fitting them, they are brand new and box has only been opened to take pictures. The springs are a 15mm drop from standard. Located in Bangor Northern Ireland collection or postage available. I will do them for £135 posted to anywhere in UK Thanks Jamie
  8. Thanks but no couldn't do them for 100 posted, 120?

    Lowe's Team Grey

That picture is the way it looks at the minute, I planned on doing the same debating as you and getting the black Toyota badges! I've got the Valenti reverse light sitting here too just needing to find time to do the rewiring to separate the V LED and the fog lights, but yes if I am going for the tint I'll be doing it all together, just finding the time unfortunatey! Spoiler has been one of my favourite purhases so far just love the look and too me seems a lot neater than the standard!

    Lowe's Team Grey

Reading through this thread has certainly been entertaining and gotten me through a long night shift so thanks for that!😂 I also own a grey 86 and I wasn't sure if I'd like the smoke option with the rear lights and went with red/clear ones but after seeing your Valentis I may have to aquire some tint
  11. I was having the same issue

    Tuning options

It is an option but it's the more expensive option, but I guess to have done right it's better to go over and allow them do their work. Something I'll have to look into more for pricing etc.

    Tuning options

If I was to do the remote mapping I assume I'll have to do the data logging and send that over for them to work Off? Or do they have base maps for cars with certain mods that are sent over? @Deacon I'll speak with my friend and make sure I can get use of his before I go ahead and rent one.

    Just saying hi

Hi mate and welcome, you'll love the 86/BRZ as Martin says its not the quickest buts super fun and won't fail to make you smile! I'm 23 and my insurance 560 for the year I've 5 years NCB, hopefully your insurance will come down and you get to own an 86/BRZ soon enough
  16. I'm sure I could get them sent and fitted over no problem, it would be the mapping side of things that would have me go over. I'm not too sure if there's an ECUtek Turner over here
  17. I've been looking at the n/a package a lot recently and I'm seeing nothing but great reviews about it! I live in Northern Ireland so will be an expensive trip across but from I'm seeing from reviews I'll be heading with nothing but smiles! (PS new to the forum so hey😁)
