A long time so the warranty is important then
-
Just remember Toyota have had some major recalls recently the throttle pedal issues with various models my Yaris is subject to the Takata air bag recall and window switches even the 86 has had a recall that all costs why not take it from us 86 owners we are just small fry
-
How much warranty is left?
-
You need to go back to main dealer however it would be interesting if Toyota have authorised any non dealer warranty work?
-
Steven Eagell are worthless and unless you are prepared to travel up north I don't know of any other local dealerships that are any good. Using a other option as independent garage while keeping your warranty seems to rely on Toyota parts and VAT registered but I am not 100% sure but if they carried out a bad service or repair I can't see Toyota putting it right and if you did use a independent and had a warranty issue can't see a dealership running around to do this. I used Toyota dealership for my warranty period and they weren't anything special and expensive

Wouldn't run a thicker oil I don't know if you can plug a gauage into block to get a accurate reading or possible oil pressure switch but never heard of problems with them

Ah OK nowhere near that

How limited?
-
Didn't extend mine seems too much variation on what is covered and who will do what and in my case the people I would have to go to are useless and to be fair mine is one of the oldest and hasn't had some issues newer cars have had

I haven't read all this thread but if you are in Essex a few of us are at The Lion at Boreham on 29th about 1100 if you want other opinions as for getting anywhere with dealer or Toyota UK I'm not confident the good dealerships' are few and far between -
when you get to that moment where you cut wires from pcb leave some wire from pcb you don't have to unsolder wires from pcb
-
mine work fine and looks great from the back in conjunction with the full set
-
all i can remember was he had the light on a table and you to cut two wires from the pcb and connect to another and splice the remaining wire into side lights and fit plug into the normal loom
-
The USA info is of no use I will try and find the one on YouTube I used when I get home it was a Australian one
-
same as Jevvy I would help if local but don't really want to remove my lamp to check wiring plus how close is your exhaust to the lamp?
-
I've done this as have a few others it does involve taking the back of light off and altering wiring and splicing spare wire on lamp into rear side lights
