Mine did this when I pulled up sharply in the wet I reset system on way home just stopping and turning ignition off it did it again but after leaving car overnight it has not done it again

Sorry as this was addressed to RRG but it took me ages to figure out what caused it just giving options if you did fit other lights

Yes mine had new lights some get new gaskets the water runs down the side of boot lid and over rear lights not a great idea so I sealed my lights at the top so water goes over lights as it was worse with my aftermarket lights

While I sit here at 0430 with a case of jet lag pondering this issue I was wondering why this didn't just blow a fuse. I have many times repaired wiring faults on larger vehicles and being too lazy to turn off lights have shorted things out and popped a fuse but never caused a problem with ECU so I am thinking no electrical changes for me but hold on the most common thing is aftermarket rear lights of which I have done so I am curious any issues with these changes?

There is a guy on EBay selling sets of wheels with new tyres on them they came off new cars being done up for racing based in Essex may be worth a look -
